Thank you for this, I came here because I saw this mezcal at Costco and was curious before I bought it for $37.99. I like mezcal but I've only had it with drinks and want to start tasting it straight, I will give this one a shot.
Rick that is a great price for that Mezcal. I would absolutely jump on that. This is a great one to start with because it is just the right amount of smokiness and has a really fantastic balanced flavor. Let us know how you like it.
1800 Anejo is nice! Mezcal Vago the ones we have are good haven’t had a bad one yet .. I haven’t tried Casamigos Mezcal yet. Their tequila is pretty good better than what I hear people say about it 😀
Just picked up a bottle on my trip to Austin. It's a very lively mezcal without a ton of smoke. The citrus notes are excellent. I would absolutely recommend, but my main booze is bourbon so take with a grain of salt.
I agree this is a wonderful Mezcal a fantastic blend of flavors , and yes not overly smoky like many Mezcal’s can be… i also come from a heavy bourbon background and has been great dipping into this complex world of mezcal’s. Like great bourbon’s every bottle has something different to offer …. Thank you for watching and your comment!
Nice review, I'm looking for an entry-level-ish mezcal that's not just Espadin for a tasting I'm planning. This could fit. Thx, and love the out takes!
It’s a great choice to introduce ppl to Mezcal with. Its also pretty good for those that already love them. Overall a solid and tasty Mezcal. Sounds like it’s going to a great time. And thank you for the lovely comment. I’m always good for providing a lot of outtakes to choose from in editing. 😏
Sounds like something like to try..we like mescal.

This was a blind buy for me. You did a great job describing it.
Thank you! and thanks for coming by the camp! we have getting into the Mezcal world much more to come, any bottles you would recommend?
@Liquor Camp Just getting into them myself... I'm more of a Whiskey drinker.. Not a Mezcal, but I did enjoy 1800 Anejo
@@liquorcamp I think my next 2 will be ...Mezcal Vago Ensamble en Barro and Casamigos Joven Mezcal

@@liquorcamp haha, I'm sure it's not as easy as it looks esp if you're shooting for one take. Cheers from YorktownWhiskeyClub 😁
