I keep going back and looking at that video that yacht oh my the interior design of the yacht to look like a palace God exquisite. Many viewers also take for granted the importance music play in creating the right mood in these videos the selection was perfect. In the slideshow version you posted to this video someone mentioned they preferred the slideshow version and I disagreed with them this is one of the reasons why, in the walkthrough video while walking the corridor the three of you are almost side by side u later pointed out the width of the corridor that is something not easily recognizable in just a slideshow presentation especially for people unaware of how narrow these decks usually are, you took the time to point it out. I hope you continue to do videos like this I think you also mentioned that you have a couple of Instagram videos? You should consider moving them over to UA-cam. UA-cam algorithm did a very good job in recommending your video to me I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Who is this PR with the Yankees hat ( no doubt from the bronx) talking about super yachts? What is this guy gonna teach me? Kidding! Homie just instantly became my favorite f$#@% yacht channel. I love it. How do you get on these boats? Im going back to watch more. I love all boats but man there's a happiness that comes over me just watching videos. The feeling i get in a busy marina is unmatched in the universe. I love everything about it.
This is my favorite video you've made so far, thank you so much! Fabulous! I love that it went faster, I love when the content hits us fast, bam, bam, bam. Really awesome video! I have just started following you. I love what you do and I hope people realize that the access that you have to some of the amazing yachts on your channel is not easy to come by. Quick question: AT about minute 13:30 in you video, there is a really beautiful, non conventional-looking boat (60' to 70' in length.) Any idea what the make and model is? Thank you so much.
Another TOP 10 list . I'd like to see a TOP 10 of the most unique as far as exterior design and/or interior design also looking at things like all motor propulsion, and/or sailing assist. Also, maybe include most intuitive helm like who has the best bells-and-whistles etc... Also, not only the creature comforts but ease of getting around the yacht (if thats an issue?) and/or most toys, best toys that come, or can come with the yacht. Stuff like that.
Any of you guys watching this vid, just take a moment to think about not just the purchase cost of these boats - from original hand sketches to interior detail, to final launch etc.,etc. That in itself is a massive undertaking AND fully involves the purchaser's time and input. Just think how much these babies cost to run per annum. One of the boats mentioned had 100 crew. Try paying their wages for a week Go fill up with fuel and pay the cashier $750,000 a time. Try feeding the 100 crew full time DAILY and picking up the tab. Cover the servicing costs, the hull cleaning etc. OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET! These boats follow the sun to allow the owner the opportunity to visit on the odd occasion to 'get away from it all and top up their tan'. I understand the owner of Dilbar, Alisher Usmanov spends up to 6months working from it. BTW he actually purchased freehold land in Antibes harbour to moor the vessel as you can imagine there are not many places they can moor up. There is now a 'No Anchor' zone off areas of the south of france east of Marseiles to Italian border because they are wrecking the seabed. Too many of 'em. It's like trying to find a parking space at the supermarket saturday morning.
Yep, but Eclipse still Eclipses ALL other yachts on the planet except for just that one. I'm sure that's the first thing everybody thinks about however, whether or not it has been Eclipsed and yep... until they invent Yacht extensions, when that day arrives I want to be the dealer for those extensions! :-D
Great video, thanks for doing it! I agree with you re "A" , at first sight I thought it was too stealth looking, I'm a traditional wood boat loving old fart. But over the last year or so of looking at photos of her from all angles, I've grown to love her. She's a work of art, and technology, and art is supposed to make people think and be emotional. Well I think I'd be pretty emotional in her presence. Imagine the incredible surprises she keeps hidden from the rest of the world. 🙄😍🤔👌
Only thing I wish you put in this video was what they sleep and the crew you did for the last few but I want to know the rest of them ? and the engineers because all lot of the video of Mega yachts, it’s like crew of 25 but how many engineers to keep it running ?
According to the Fincantieri website, Ocean Victory is 140 meters 459 feet which would make her 11th largest in the world. Yas is 10. There are a few other things. Sheik Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and he owns Topaz/A+. Azzam's top speed is over 30 knots which is crazy for its size. Fountainhead is 88 meters which is 288 feet(+/-). There's a yacht called El Mahrousa that is 145 meters that is older than Abdulaziz(WAY OLDER...I'm talking being around at the opening ceremony of the Suez Canal old) that is rarely seen, but was/is the Presidential Yacht of Egypt. Next, I actually have a question. Have you heard of a yacht called Fulk Al Salamah? Supposedly it's longer than Eclipse at 164 meters. Finally, REV is going to shut all the talk down as far as what the biggest yacht, and it is a yacht, is. She will have more length than Azzam and more volume than Dilbar. I did like the video, I just found myself disagreeing with a few things.
Always love the feed back!!! Yes I was off by 1m on Ocean Victory good catch, there are a few that could have filled in the number 7 and 8 spot I didnt want to go down the line naming them all so we gave it to Prince Abdullah Aziz. Super yacht times did mention Mahrousa but it had such a cool back story I wanted to make a vid on just her alone. As for Azzams speed i said “Pushing over 20knots” so I never gave an exact number. Same for fountainhead I gave an estimated size, ;) As for Fulk Al Salamah is actually a support vessel from what I understand and not really a yacht. I’m excited to see REV Ocean finally delivered, but I’m also excited to see all the write ups from the magazines. Thanks for the feed back man greatly appreciated and big thank you for watching.
Most of the biggest yachts are actually build by the Lürssen Werft of my hometown Bremen (Germany). If they make the launching public, it's nice to watch (also many cruise ships are build by them and you can watch the launches).
thanks a lot for this..I think if anyone can get onboard to these big monsters only you can..pls do it..get onboard to all these monsters and make detailed walkthrough vidoes...very few actually have videos of them ever..hopefully you can present us with that
Thank you man thoughs boats are life changing their so beautiful they are a blessing to all that witness and experience them. They are beauty personified.
I have a question for you: How safe is it to do a transatlantic voyage in one of these large superyachts? I know they are equipped with the latest and the greatest technological and onboard navigation systems, but do they have the keel and the structural design/integrity to face the potentially treacherous Atlantic storms (and I’m not talking about the rare monstrous rogue waves)? I also realize that these superyachts have the fuel autonomy (~ 7000-nm range at crushing speed) to make the trip, but do the manufacturers recommend transatlantic crossings? In short: Are these ocean-faring yachts?
I'm pretty sure that like 5 out of the boats are owned by the same family but might be completly wrong (dilbar/azzam/Al Said/Abdulaziz/Dubai) Not the topic of the video but still kinda interesting if that is the case
