I never got to meet her in person but her social media presence was legendary. She was ahead of the times in every possible way. She was a multi-award-winning songwriter and singer with her own record. But even more than that, she was a beautiful, kind-hearted soul who celebrated kitsch but just loved people and her work. She left behind a huge legacy of songs that will NEVER go out of style. She was truly special, and she will be missed by all.
Wrote so many hits, but "Tell It To My Heart" by Taylor Dayne was not one of them. Fire that intern. LOL. She wrote a song with Anita Pointer with the same title, a ballad on The Pointer Sisters' 1993 album, Only SIsters Can Do That.
Watching The Top Ten Revealed on AXS and she was one of the commentators. Looked her up and she accomplished so many things it made me feel like a lazy slugs.
Rip... 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽what an icon of a writer ... she will be missed!
sending all love to her and her close ones,
