Despite scoring a first-half opener for a second straight game, Sassuolo weren’t able to hold onto their lead at Genoa (L 2-1) last time out, throwing away vital points in their desperate bid for Serie A survival. Players to watch: Sassuolo will look to Andrea Pinamonti for another quick start as eight of his 11 Serie A goals this term have arrived in the opening 30 minutes. Scorer of five goals this season (four for Cagliari), Gianluca Gaetano returns after serving a one-match ban for a red card, with each of his last three efforts coming before the break.
