Imagine being Fred, going from Sleater-Kinney super-fan and wearing a button with Carrie's face on it the first time they met, to being able to perform with them on stage. He must've been so fucking excited
Corin's vocals were insanely impressive. Held nothing back.
I met Fred when I shot for an episode of Portlandia. In RL, he is so quiet, meek, and genuine. Funny how he is so extroverted in front of a crowd or camera.
Old Nerd Reviews that's exact what i think. I feel you, buddy!
Of all the songs Sleater-Kinney could have covered with their pal Fred, I'm glad they picked this one!
The greatest concert surprise I've ever seen in person.
If you didn’t know any better, you would have thought this were the B-52’s. Fred Armisen’s commitment to looking like Fred Schneider seals the deals. Not to mention Corin Tucker being Cindy and Kate....
I believe they've tapped into the essence of the B-52s. Talk, warble, scream, and put everything you've got into it without taking it seriously. Remember, keys are crutches for week musicians.
Kipling Kat Not at all. I've been a fan since I first heard them on the radio in the 70s. And you're right, they're excellent musicians. But they never let that get in the way of having fun. They could have become Emerson, Lake, and Palmer after all. (Who I also love, so don't judge me!) I'm also a fan of the three other bands you mention, and have seen Oingo Boingo (Elfman is a genius) and TMBG (ditto the Johns) live multiple times each.
Before the pandemic I ran into Fred@ a diner in Manhattan. I introduced myself and said I was a fan and he couldn’t of been more pleasant. Genuinely nice guy 👍🏻
That was Tom Arnold.
This is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen.
Soooooooooooooo good!!! Corin Tucker you ROCK! All of you do...but she killed it with the crazy Cindy and Kate vocals!
Thank you. This is glorious.
Epic cover! I feel sorry for whoever cannot find joy in this song.
Corin is getting more beautiful each day!!
Seeing Corin Tucker completely RULE the beach animals part was something I'd never expect. Nice!
My god have they just had this ability lying dormant, this is such a meticulous cover
They did it with Calvin Johnson for 1997 New Years Eve! Glad they did it again while Janet was in the band.

What better evidence is there that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a sham than the fact that B-52's have never been nominated.
I felt that “oh my god”
THIS CROWD WAS LIT
what this track needs is more cowbell!!
So much fun, great song
@ 2:57 : Oh no!! I've fallen & I can't get up!! Better call the paramedics!!

just as fun as when I've seen the B52's! good job
great cover on a hard song to ever do
Big bucket of win!
What fun! Must have been great show.
Haaa. This is fun. I like this.
Great cover guys and gals 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Fred Armisen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Job❗️So fun, something missing from the overerly serious bland top 40 nonsence.
That was so fucking awesome! I was 2 rows behind you
Oh that Girl in the audience..Lordty! lol
Geiles Cover!!
Well that was fun.
Could have used more cowbell.
Bill Gates does not approve.
But I do! Great job!
