Yep, but the t32 also went blue in one shot and was platooned with the O-Ho who turned blue for doing a stupidly small amount of dmg to the is3, so they are obviously both raging arseholes.

Yep IS-3's fault, It's reasons like this why Console won't enable Team Damage so they resort to Cliff Dives, Water Drowning and Pushing you into enemy tanks instead. As Jingles said, it was an accident with the O-Ho and in my book, one accidental team damage is fine (although I would need to learn about my surroundings in future) and if I was the IS-3, I wouldn't be as petty unless the O-Ho kept damaging me on purpose, only then would I do it. IS-3 threw the match when it happened.

You turn blue first to yourself so you know it's not allowed to shoot teammates, after that you turn blue to the rest of the players. Both of them knew what they were doing.

Jingles I think the "If you can do it doesn't mean you should do it" rule applies here. I've been in many situations where tanks on my team went blue, however nobody shot them and many times we all ignored them, because they weren't shooting at us. I don't shoot at blue tanks cuz if I didn't see exactly what happened I just assume it was an accident and carry on with the battle. Now if I see a blue tank acting suspicious like aiming at me, I'll becme a bit more causious.
Temp bans at least are in order. That sort of player does nothing to contribute to that particular game, nor the game in general, and needs to be punished for actively attempting to ruin at least two other players' games.

Jingles there is an argument to defend the O-HO and T32 that you may have missed. They could have theoretically have played in strongholds together and trolled each other by doing team damage (which turns players blue even if they're in the same clan). Long stronghold sessions tend to get trolly and fun in good clans and after a couple drinks some clan mates can "accidentally" track other teammates in strongholds to be annoying. So the O-HO and T32 may not be compete bumholes and frivolous with team health. EDIT: not defending as i dont know those players just not sure if you were aware of the "fixed" strongholds team damage system.
Coming to the defense of his platoonmate who is being attacked without provocation (him being blue does not constitute provocation) does NOT make him a bumhole.

Account banning isn't good enough for these people, as they can create a new account and carry on as before just block their i.p. address and MAC address so they can't use that computer again as most people like these have at the most one computer they can access at any one time. Simple effective and deals with the problem in foul swoop!
The sort of fckt@rd represented by the IS-3 (in a clan, too; bet they're a wonderful bunch) is one of the principal reasons I quit the game some years back after 10,500 games or so. Just couldn't stand the levels of stupid from self-important little felch-garglers who had no interest in winning or anything beyond their own petty obsessions. Team game? Nope, it's all about them.

Yeah, while I'd say the O-Ho was definitely in the wrong there, and he definitely should have apologized for the splash damage, the IS-3 is the one who really threw the game. Don't shoot the blues unless they're actively putting you or your teammates tanks in danger. Even if they're completely useless for killing enemy tanks, it's still one more target for the enemy to fling shells at without hurting you.
And even a banned blue player can passively spot, and thus be used to swing the result of a close match. You seem to have the best approach to dealing with blues, ser, and I salute you o7
Schmeethe88 chances are the o ho didn't notice the team damage either if he was in sniper view for taking the shot. the canarvon probably only noticed because the oho went blue. otherwise i doubt he had notciced it as well. if the is-3 noticed the team damage he should have just said to the oho to watch his fire because he got splashed by a shell of his. and left it at that.. but he starts shooting team mates without knowing what is going on. you should never do that no matter if he turns blue or not. if nothing is happening don't get involved.

In the second clip... The O-Ho was clearly being careless with his splash damage, but it only resulted in two digit damage, virtually nothing. Sure he turned blue right away, but it's entirely possible he was getting trolled in some previous matches and snapped. that little splash damage is happening very often when a derp gun is firing HE. We all know about that and we all fire it, even at close ranges... That IS-3 seems to be a real noob and he absolutely destroyed a win for his team. That arty blocking asshole at the beginning of the vid should get an instant ban.. there should be a key set up so you can drive thrue or shoot thrue friendly without damaging any friends, and or a key that can be pressed to choose to be able to be pushed if your tipped/tilted.
Hey uncle Jingles, can't agree with you on the IS3 issue. T32 and OHO are teamed up. Both turn blue under first offence. This tells me they don't see the "Do not fire at your teammates" rule as really important. Even so the IS3 lost the game, it was his rightfull choice (Wargaming supported unpunished killing of blue team mates) to shoot the OHO. Was it clever to do so? No. Would I have done it in this situation? No. Would I shoot the OHO after the match seems to be won? Hell Yeah. And I would have hoped the OHO would have been banned after shooting at the IS3 in the end while he was already blue. A small sry at the first time of team damage would have resolved 90% of those issues. Greetings from Germany. Still waiting for you and Jives to share a game!
Or, what some other person said in the comments said that they could be fooling around in strongholds, and turn blue by shooting eachother. So they would turn blue quick anyways.
Eh, I'd rather judge them by their actions by guessing hypotheticals on wargaming's system. They both showed incredible restraint while the IS-3 was firing shot after shot at the OHO. If they didn't care, they'd have taken him out after the first couple of shots
I love my KV-2. Only yesterday I used it in a tournament, 1v1 versus a Cromwell. He spotted me and managed to get me down to 4hp before I got back into cover. He then came round the corner in front of me 30 seconds later.....KABOOM!
The O-Ho turned blue for the 90 or so damage and then the t32 turned blue for one shot as well...obviously both of those guys are just assholes that team damage all the time. The IS3 should probably not have tried to kill him but still... You don't turn blue for one shot unless you are unlucky enough to cause a fire or smt...
ainumahtar My wn8 is only 1166 too, even though I get at least about 1,5k damage in almost every match. Maybe my WN8 is so low cuz I started playing the game when I was 11, back in 2011 :D
Except that the automated system for that is known to have serious issues. It has incorrectly applied bans and "blue" many many times before. I don't know if it's as bad as it used to be when I played, but at one point it was notorious for this.
At the end when the KV-2 bounced 6-7 shots from the Churchill III while being a one-shot to him is the perfect example of the so called "noob-armor" (even though I won't call the KV-2 a noob) when shots that should pen him fails to do so either by low penetration rolls or by the bad side of the accuracy which fires the shells to the thickest part of the enemy tank.

if the is-3 noticed the team damage he should have just said to the oho to watch his fire because he got splashed by a shell of his. and left it at that.. but he starts shooting team mates without knowing what is going on. you should never do that no matter if he turns blue or not. if nothing is happening don't get involved.

The O-Ho was clearly being careless with his splash damage, but it only resulted in two digit damage, virtually nothing. Sure he turned blue right away, but it's entirely possible he was getting trolled in some previous matches and snapped.
The IS-3 only really had one excuse for his actions... the O-Ho turned blue immediately so he must be a bad guy, right?
I think the IS-3 is the one in the wrong, sure, the O-Ho splashed him for minuscule damage and he COULD have apologised in chat. But the O-Ho didn't do anything suspicious like driving behind the IS-3 and pointing his gun at him, the O-Ho was driving forwards until the IS-3 decided to throw a bitch fit
That KV2 replay was worth watching multiple times....and I laughed hysterically every time! 😂😂😂😂

that little splash damage is happening very often when a derp gun is firing HE. We all know about that and we all fire it, even at close ranges... That IS-3 seems to be a real noob and he absolutely destroyed a win for his team.
That arty blocking asshole at the beginning of the vid should get an instant ban.. I hope, that arty player sent in the replay to WG Support.

there should be a key set up so you can drive thrue or shoot thrue friendly without damaging any friends, and or a key that can be pressed to choose to be able to be pushed if your tipped/tilted.
Hey uncle Jingles, can't agree with you on the IS3 issue. T32 and OHO are teamed up. Both turn blue under first offence. This tells me they don't see the "Do not fire at your teammates" rule as really important. Even so the IS3 lost the game, it was his rightfull choice (Wargaming supported unpunished killing of blue team mates) to shoot the OHO.
Was it clever to do so? No.
Would I have done it in this situation? No.
Would I shoot the OHO after the match seems to be won? Hell Yeah.
And I would have hoped the OHO would have been banned after shooting at the IS3 in the end while he was already blue. A small sry at the first time of team damage would have resolved 90% of those issues.

Eh, I'd rather judge them by their actions by guessing hypotheticals on wargaming's system. They both showed incredible restraint while the IS-3 was firing shot after shot at the OHO. If they didn't care, they'd have taken him out after the first couple of shots
I love my KV-2. Only yesterday I used it in a tournament, 1v1 versus a Cromwell. He spotted me and managed to get me down to 4hp before I got back into cover. He then came round the corner in front of me 30 seconds later.....KABOOM!

The O-Ho turned blue for the 90 or so damage and then the t32 turned blue for one shot as well...obviously both of those guys are just assholes that team damage all the time. The IS3 should probably not have tried to kill him but still... You don't turn blue for one shot unless you are unlucky enough to cause a fire or smt...
ainumahtar My wn8 is only 1166 too, even though I get at least about 1,5k damage in almost every match. Maybe my WN8 is so low cuz I started playing the game when I was 11, back in 2011 :D

Except that the automated system for that is known to have serious issues. It has incorrectly applied bans and "blue" many many times before. I don't know if it's as bad as it used to be when I played, but at one point it was notorious for this.

At the end when the KV-2 bounced 6-7 shots from the Churchill III while being a one-shot to him is the perfect example of the so called "noob-armor" (even though I won't call the KV-2 a noob) when shots that should pen him fails to do so either by low penetration rolls or by the bad side of the accuracy which fires the shells to the thickest part of the enemy tank.
Its alright. Everything is fine. Thanks Jingles, I needed some cheering up after my Warships experience. ^^
