I am a huge fan of orchestral renditions of movie soundtracks, I think this one is sooo awesome, I enjoyed it more than the actual live version by Hans Zimmer :)
Saddening that an orchestra of such excellent professional potential as the Bloemfontein City Orchestra should happen to embarrass itself with pathetically inconsistent principal brass performance. Given that the orchestra as a whole is capable of far better, I only hope they recorded this music at a better time and place so that they could distinguish themselves with the flawless performance this music deserves. Likewise, the choral director's approach to the closing "amen" must be a local tradition, since no truncation of that time-honored figure was heard in the original film score. A little more attention to relevant musical traditions is called for here on the director's part. Better luck turning out truly professional performances and interpretations!
Epic ive heard this in a concert once and now i finally found it yipee😄

The best of all versions. Even better than Hans remaster
One of the trumpets had a rough day, best version none the less.
Best version on UA-cam, bar none..Not even close to some of the other interruptions out there.
Rewelacja
Red salute to all.

EPIC
Too bad the entire second part of it is off-key. At least it sounds like that to me. Nice effort, but... it's not quite there.
