I bought another RRL Denim in washed, not destroyed Version ( named Yosemite washed, ). Selveged too. It looks great. Very Expensive, here in Germany. But i like it!
I believe that RRL products are really good but the bracket price is on the expensive side compared with the Japanese brands or smaller American brands that use Japanese selvedge
I had the Yosemite in boot cut when I was a skinnier man, had to get rid of them when I put on the Covid weight that I can’t seem to shed. Now I’m strictly straight leg or vintage 5 pocket. But the Yosemite jeans were so comfortable. I think RRL clothing (even the China made stuff) as some of the most superior clothing out there. It’s totally BIFL.
Thanks for the review. They look great on you I have This pair as well, bought it like 6 months. My first selvedge jeans, and im super happy. Feels great and the silhouette is nice. Its pretty versatile as well. Was expensive but well worth it
You should look into finding a pair of RRL slim fit “East to West” It’s the same cut but better denim that fade better and the cotton is grown in the USA and sent out to Japan to be woven then sent back to LA which is no longer in business but LA did amazing work for RRL. It did all the golden era of RRL’S best denim work. East to West are really top notch as far as all denim in the world is concerned… their deep deep indigo rope dyed all with a brown Salvedge ID. And they use a much better quality leather patch on the back sometimes rough out and some smooth top grain , very HQ looking. And the embroidered RRL on the coin pocket was done better and clearer than none East to West … seriously love my pair! Great review I look forward to more!! Keep it up 👍
Great video! I was disappointed last month when I trying on a pair of RL Purple Label denim to find that that: the fit is inconsistent and that the jeans I was trying on were not made in Italy as is usually advertised with the rest of the Purple Label line. Luckily, I see RRL available as an alternative! How do these jeans tend to fit? Are they true-to-size? Also, can that cloth/fabric patch on the back pocket be removed? These would be my first pair of selvage denim, so I want to make sure I get everything right. Much thanks!
Hi!! Thank you!!. If you are in Levi’s, wear 34 on the waist, go for 34, and the patch can be removed. The regular line has inconsistencies with the measurements I never tried the Purple Line is unnecessarily expensive
I’ve been eying this piece for a while. Sadly they’re 360 euros here in Berlin. Do you think they’re worth it? I’m a huge sucker for RRL and Ralph Lauren.
Hi!! Thank you for watching. Let's see, if you are a fan of RRL, go for it; they are really good quality, but a cheaper and better option is Iron Heart. Again, if you fancy RRL, going for another option is not going to make you happy 👍
@@UrbanLadUK you’re absolutely right. Most of my jackets are from there and some other stuff too. Alright I’ll pull the trigger. Thanks for the great vid!
@@bfettrules1239 They're soft and well made, but as the Mister mentioned, there are cheaper options with the same exact quality if you dont mind going with something other than RRL, and the difference is quite substantial, sometimes almost a 100 euros here.
Thanks for the info!!!! Hi I just fund that in the web site of Kaihara that they list Polo as one of their clients also in the web site of Daiwabo I can no find nothing about the selvedge denim and clients. Can you please give more details, it is just for mi archive and knowledge. Thank you.
Kaihara is doing some denim fabrics for RL mainly. For RRL mainly use Daiwabo that is agent to rep a small domestic denim with some uncles there. Probably that is just around 100k-200k yds annual capacity only. They are no need to promote for more customers, coz just exclusive for Double RL.
Not a Ralph Lauren fan, living in the USA his stuff has always seemed very cheesy and gaudy. I went to the website to look around and now he is making skateboard clothing. You can't make this up 😅

@@UrbanLadUK Thank you for your Answer. What do you think about Dsquared2 Jeans - I think the Quality is not so good. What’s your opinion?
@@patrickblume7066 Sorry, mate I never tried Dsquared2, but I´ll take a look at this brand

I totally agree with you!! 👍👍
I’ll take “Truest statement ever made for $200, Alex.” RRL is an amazing brand.
I only own RRL jeans. They’ve never let me down.
Those jeans are a solid choice!!!

@@UrbanLadUK did these shrink at all in the waist? I’m usually a 32 but I’m not sure if I should stay with my regular size or size down to a 31.
@@joeyvonny5146 no shrinkage at all; stretch a bit

Hidden back pocket rivets, one of the unique features of the LVC.
The original, indeed, many times reproduced by other brands!!

Thank you!! I wear Red Wing, Iron Ranger 8083

It’s Japanese denim
DOPE

they look too wide
It doesn't feel wide; it all depends on the style that you like 👍

😂😂😂😂😂
Don’t confuse RRL with polo or anything else this fashion giant produces, RRL is Ralph Lauren’s baby and he is personally involved in the process. 👍
Ralph Lauren has different departments, you can’t compare the leisure wear with his more luxurious labels like RRL or Purple Label for example 😊
