  • The first snowfall of the season has arrived, transforming the landscape into a serene, white wonderland. The ancient cedar trees, strong and towering, now bear the weight of the snow on their evergreen branches. Each bough, once resilient and upright, now bends under the pressure, forming elegant arcs as if bowing in quiet reverence to winter’s arrival.
As I walk through the forest, the sound of soft snow crunching beneath my feet accompanies the occasional gentle thud of snow slipping from a branch and landing on the ground. The sight of these trees, enduring the heavy snow yet standing tall, reminds me of resilience in the face of adversity. Though the snow weighs them down, they remain steadfast, knowing that this burden is only temporary. Soon, the sun will melt the snow, and the cedar branches will rise once again, free and unbowed.
