  • This episode is a two-day episode as Helsinki was jam packed on Saturday with Pride. We watch the Pride Parade for a while and celebrate inclusion with the Finish people.
On Sunday, we only have a few hours before we have to board the ferry to Tallinn, Estonia, so we have a drive-by tourism expedition to go to 6 different sites around Helsinki.
The 6 different sites of our drive-by tourism are:
    • Sibelius Monument - 600 pipe sculpture and a bust of the composer. One of my favorite quotes from Jean Sibelius is “Pay no attention to what critics say; no stature has ever been erected to a critic”.
    • Temppeliaukio Church - Church built directly into solid rock in the center of Helsinki, Finland.
    • Kamppi Chapel - Known as the Chapel of Silence, it’s a chapel built in the middle of Helsinki and it’s for a moment of silence in one of the busiest areas of the city.
    • Helsinki Cathedral
    • Senate Square
    • Presidential Palace
We arrive in Tallinn, Estonia, which has been on my bucket list for years and I am so excited to finally arrive.

Brilliant monument! Looks impressive when you walk up to it. We enjoyed our day out in Helsinki with the kids last year! The Rock church we have seen too! The most impressive building though was the library. Could have spend all day in there! Tallinn 😍 Our oldest lives there!!! Most beautiful town!

I missed the Library. That gives me a reason to go back. Thanks for the recommendation. Great town your oldest lives in.
