Great vid as always! Instead of modulating the pitch output, You can use sample and hold module between the pitch scaler and the pitch output and trigger it with the gate signal. Thanks man!
In the past the way it seemed to me was that the Key Filter would be upset if I didn't at least feed it legit notes. If I sent it weird unofficial pitches, it didn't know how to deal with them. I dealt with that by running everything through a pitch quantizer in the grid that would ensure I was at least generating recognized notes, and then that would go into the Key Filter, and it would know what to do.
Omri, have you seen Unreal Engine Metasounds? It is not as mature as the Grid, or the VCV Rack, but has got some interesting capacity in it. Your opinion is much appreciated.

Thanks! Using a S&H doesn't work for me. The Key Filter still doesn't quantize anything...
