    Congratulations on your work. Could you tell me where you get the metal parts of those jobs from the video? The utensils?

      Thanks for the answer. I'm from Brazil and I need to know if those metal kitchen utensils need only the metal part, because I work with wood lathe. Do you sell only them without the turned part?

    • @CraftSuppliesUSA
      @CraftSuppliesUSA  7 років тому

      Yes. All of our kits only come with the hardware. You'll need to turn the project on a wood lathe.

      I got it, thanks. Do you ship to Brazil?

    What is the make and model of the chuck? I like that setup with the mandrel. It is shown at 2:37.

    Hi, so I'm a new turner and I always thought for sanding you use a higher speed?

    • @CraftSuppliesUSA

      We always recommend sanding with slower speeds because you'll have less heat build-up and the slower speed will help get a better sanded surface.

      It's a Laguna Revo 18-36 Lathe. It starts at $2,399. Here's a link. www.woodturnerscatalog.com/p/216/6781/Laguna-Revo-18-36-Lathe-1-1-2-HP-110v

    What size blank did you start with? How big did the handle end up?

    • @CraftSuppliesUSA
      @CraftSuppliesUSA  5 років тому +1

      You just need a 2" x 2" x 6" blank for a common sized handle. It ended up being about 1" x 5" in size. Here's a link to our wood blanks. www.woodturnerscatalog.com/t/27/Domestic-Hardwoods

    A little too smiley. But... not bad. I like the detachment ability.

    Mine works too. I used the Woodglut plans and performed it without any problems.
