An error is made here: Ethiopians are not gentles. This Eunuch was the first to be baptized in the new testament account, yet it is Cornelius, a Greek, who is identified as the first Gentile. Peter was given a dream of being directed to eating unclean animals as a message not to withhold the Gentiles from being baptized. It is assumed that Gentiles are defined as any nation outside of Israel, and more specifically outside of Judah as a nation. This is Biblically incorrect as the scriptures define who the Gentles are, and where they reside. Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth. It is from the son Japheth that the Gentiles proceed - from Gomer comes Ashkenaz (which the Ashkenazi jews today say this is not a reference to them, but a coincidence). It clearly says in Gen 10:5 " By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations". An isle is somewhat different than an Island, such as the Greek, British Isles, etc. It is a land mass that is not completely surrounded by water, though its land mass extends into the sea. . The Scriptures starting in Gen 10:6-22 mentions Noah's other sons Ham and Shem. They are not Gentiles, and it explains why the Ethiopian Eunuch - being from Cush, is not identified as a Gentile when baptized by Phillip; Cornelius being the first Gentle. This misunderstanding as to who are the Gentiles goes deeper when we consider the inaccurate interpretation of Japheth tents being enlarged and Shem who dwells therein. It is from Japheth's lineage that the Gentile nations proceed ( Gen 10: 5). Further, Scripture gives insight as to 'deception' and 'dwelling': Gen 9:27: God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. The Hebrew word 'Enlarge' (Strong's Translation H6601 pāṯâ) should be translated as 'enticed' (10x) and 'deceive (8x)'. It is here it is translated and written as enlarge. The Hebrew word for 'enlarge' is rāḥaḇ H7737 and appears 25 times as such. The translators put the word 'enlarge' rather than 'deceive' or 'entice' as it should be most likely due to a lack of understanding of the intent so written - which is entice, deceive. Shem - the righteous ones, are to have Gentiles dwelling in their tents (Strong's H168 Tabernacle - 'C' Sacred place) under deception as to who they truly are, not identifying themselves as Gentiles. Rev 3:9; Rev 2:9 “I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.; Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee” There will be a separation but only after the time of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Eunuch is a Greek word. You cant have an Ethiopian Eunuch without Greek influence being at the head of the relationship.. Also, Arabs were enslaving North Africans and castrating them.. The midianites are said to have been the race from keturah and Abraham sons who married black Egyptians. This misunderstanding as to who are the Gentiles goes deeper when we consider the inaccurate interpretation of Japheth tents being enlarged and Shem who dwells therein. The translators put the word 'enlarge' rather than 'deceive' or 'entice' as it should be most likely due to a lack of understanding of the intent so written - which is entice, deceive. @@susannmgallagher8615it matters because blacks have been told who and what they are for 400 years by a white person. It started when we' were viscously stolen and bought to a land in physical chains then supposedly became free only to be shifted to a mental and economical slavery. They tell us THEY will never forget Pearl Harbor and Nine Eleven and in the same breath tell us slavery is over and forget about it and move on. It really does who is telling our story
