Get 14000 Food before Enemy Leafcutter Colony
Enemy Colony will send Majors at you when you're ahead

1 Minor : 1 Media : 0.2 Major Ratio, Build 30+ Minors First
Prioritize Harvest closer to Enemy Colony, especially Northeast
Avoid Fighting to minimize Food Loss, Turn Attack Off on Workers
Trigger Enemy Retreat & Reinforcements when Area is out of Food
Hold Ctrl to check Food Remaining from Plants

@@Unkusertm honestly 20 dollars is a really good price for a game like EOTU, it has so many constant updates and the "DLC" is all free

Really Well done with this, and awesome, looks like Empires of the Undergrowth has gotten updated big time, I knew you were waiting for that moment, and now, we will be seeing more of this game, and more of your amazing skills, like what you done now, this is one heck of updates, and new missions I can see the update is a mega huge ones, a lot of effort was put into this update, the mission you started, dang that was close, but you won, keep doing a wonderful job.

Great gameplay, Balanite! But at 20:20 the enemy clearly has less leaves than you, so I don't understand why they haven't started sending freaking lvl 3 majors in yet. Or maybe that's just me. xD Can't wait for you to beat insane on 3.2
did 3.2 this morning. 3.1 is the real challenge.
The majors only attack if you are closing to reach your goal of leaves.

Gg! That mission was strangely hard for me, maybe its bugged cant even beat it on meduim but i can do insane on most
How do you exit the hive without triggering the competition I always trigger it by the time I leave to the surface n I'm 1000 leaves behind before I can start
you need to to go outside asap
and start by building 2 worker tiles 2 food storage tiles and 2 refuse tiles and then have the queen workers help out with leaf gathering for 2 runs or so and work from there
I was wondering the same thing I get some things built up inside before I open the exit anymore because it automatically triggers the competition. Made that mistake the first time I played this challenge

man, ikeep trying to beat this but my minims just stand there and dont do anything, so my leaf stores get full and i dont get any fungus as a result, or they dont clean up... like wtf do i do about their ai??
Are you upgrading your refuse chambers? You might have a backlog of waste. Another tip is to build your brood chambers as close as you can to your leaf stores, so your minims can bring leaves to tiles faster.
@@buff9812 i managed to figure out the issue and it was indeed that i wasnt upgrading them/had enough, yes, but the refuse i had stored was misleading. it would say i had 50/100 when i actually had like 200 total. it would never cap out and show me that i needed more space. quite frustrating

Left ctrl or I by default
you can also change the settings to always show that, along with health bars.(show creature info and show tile info)

Why do they say the ant must defend themselves and i be like from what a army of ants or a small millipede (ik thats not how you spell it but im too lazy to find a video showing that lol)

In this mission you need numbers
Listen you should build the majors because they are like tanks
they are also very expensive. you can get 2 media for 1 major. I dont know if insane difficulty would be possible if you spend too much on majors.
This mission is all about speed and numbers. The majors are definitely nice, but you need to get more leaves than your opponent, and having less numbers, doesn't work. Definitely need them for the next mission with the army ants though.
