i hate the camera angles. Ive always felt this way about sparking but the way the camera moves around from front view to side then back to front then to side just gives me a headache then all the flashy shit on top of it. A scene does not need so many angles

@@Sperx sorry, not what i meant, it's the skill animations, the zoom ins and the slow motion that just looks awkward in this form of animation, they take way too long on some shots and the animation speed is terribly inconsistent. easiest example of this would be broly's turnaround attack and ssj3 transformation which is too long in the wrong parts unlike rb, especially compared to combos which are, like you said, at a speed you can barely see

Sparking zero looks amazing. I’m having a good time playing it. But raging blast 2 has the best combat mechanics hands down. Being able to combo cancel was a game changer. Not sure why they left that out in sparking zero.
I am the only one who dont like that you have no KI around you char in sparking zero? i miss it that you have so much from it around you in the old dragonball games and that is how much KI you have load at the moment
SZ is lacking the ummmmmm hit-frames, you know the slight shake that the older game has at the peak of whatever they're doing (powering up, hitting a ki blast), it's why some of SZ move seems less impactful. A shame, but modern games are different from older ones; hopefully we get some patches that add that in.
Sparking Zero looks absolutely stunning and is a pure feast for the eyes 😻. That being said, Raging Blast has aged well and looks good too. Funnily enough, Raging Blast 2 is pretty ugly.

raging blast did rush attacks & button sequence attacks way better than sparking zero…not every melee super had to be a rush attack it should’ve had button mashing sequences like in rb/rb2.
after that you have to understand that the transformation with the fluffy hair is a failure of Toriyama, not for nothing that the form changes afterwards

No it doesn't. BT3 and Raging Blast moves have a lot of impact. Sparking Zero attacks look soft and the animations are poor. There's a huge difference between good graphics and good animations. Sparking Zero only has good graphics but poor animations, also bad character models.

The combat is also boring with artificial combos that require no skill and have zero weight in the attacks, the attack animations either look boring or are just unfaithful to the source material, the characters are unbalanced and discourages trying out other characters if only a few are objectively worth checking out, the voice acting and camera are terrible, and the branding is desperate.
After seeing them side by side theres no comparison, sparking zero is a glorified ps2 game with subpar graphics. Rb looks much closer to the anime/manga with more details and cleaner animation

The older games definitely went for an accurate look for Z but Sparking Zero had flashed up the moves like Super Broly did.
