Hi guys,
I wasn't planning to post a build video, but I wanted to test the new look before leaving Japan.
I spend four days straight just for audio. I feel there are still margins for improvement. This is what I end up for this time.
I completed the edit for Hi-ν RG Full Build. Now I am going to shoot the ending and edit. The thing is, I only have ten days or so, honestly not sure how far I can go.
And yes, for now, more than 90%, I will go to Los Angeles from January. I've already completed visa applications, passport renewal, vaccinations, etc.
This visual is very close to what I imagined back in April. Special thanks to Ginny, who made the gorgeous custom setup.
Although I will be busy in Los Angeles, I am still willing to continue this channel. However, I will lose all arrangements for painting, so I will no longer post the Full Build video from January. I might need some new content that is manageable in my spare time.
Unfortunately, I can no longer allocate my budget for this channel, so the quality update I talked about in the last community post won't happen, at least in the next few years.
I've spent almost 50% of my time researching in the past year. So it's kind of silly that I have to stop video production right after finding the good workflows.

And what a lot of y'all don't understand is, as a video editor, every time he cuts the pieces, he's cutting each of the cuts together for the video to speed up the process. I can feel the tediousness of scrubbing through the raw video and "cutting" each clip lol.
Or you can check the sound wave of each clip and do it faster lol
@@petera.michaelsen4657 Sure, but you still have to click, and cut, click and cut click and cut. You should know, it's not the funnest part of editing lol. That's my point.
@@allennopphotography i'd rather work on a high fps stop motion than doing this incredible editing. Im to lazy for this type of videos. Lol

That red and gold already looks good that I really wouldn't want to paint it aside from some panel lining. The silver bits for sure for some extra detail, but this is a really good looking kit straight out of the box.
I believe the red and gold runners are already prepainted, and that this is a much more expensive kit than a typical master grade
@@annoyingoranger100 I like that but that bothers me at the same time. Just how meticulous you'd have to be getting the parts off the runner without chipping the paint or leaving stress marks in it. It may be easier than I think but I've never done one prepainted.
@@Hangryman9038 So I did a little background check on the kit itself, and apparently the most parts are undergated, as in the sprues themselves are always in the bottim of the piece and never on the edge. This supposedly means thats you wouldnt have to worry about nub marks showing up on the paint. cool stuff.

The fact that these take 100s of hours is just incredible, amazing work! Your editing is on point! It takes me days to edit some videos, and a couple hours just for a few seconds. All because of cutting and scrubbing through footage. I admire your work!

Beautiful kit. Only drawback is probably where the nubs are, it spots the nice red metallic finish.
I LOVED making those kinds of things! I always just punched them out with a finger though, never needed pliers.

This is just amazing how much effort you put into this. That too, after having to work on these builds and detailings still having that drive is amazing. Have you ever thought about also posting just the raw clips together? I mean of course you can't go posting 150+ hours (although would definitely watch it all XD) worth of clips but something to that measure? If you can't, it's totally understandable and not trying to pressurize you. Can't wait for ur next work. Love from India
