I have the late 80’s version. Gorgeous knife and still as perfect as the day I got it

I think that is actually a 75 to 77 model because of the aluminum tip tweezers and the fluted corkscrew

Thanks for the view and comment.
It is possible that I am incorrect on the dating of my knife. I have found several dating references and many contradict one another.
I hesitate to date knives specifically on the tweezers due to how easily they can be replaced.
I utilized the following references when dating:
      SAAMS 91mm Tool Evolution:
      - 4 Turn Fluted Corkscrew (1973-1991)
      - Can opener no Swiss Pat Stamp (Post 1980)
      - Cap Lifter without wire scraper (Dropped in 1980)
      Sakwiki Tang Stamp Guide:
      - Tank Stamp (VSSR/OS) 1976-1986

@@Stewart0494 Yeah i know and corkscrew info and scissor spring info is not exact either but for sure the tweezers going to plastic in 78 is a pure fact. Shields going to stainless steel is sketchy also because some were changed before 1980. I feel a lot of things cross over in the 70's because there was so much change
