Great video. I like the rag in the box idea. Another tip to remove burnt or other residuals that steaming won’t remove is a griddle brick, will remove anything left behind including the seasoning.. looking forward to the next one. Cheers.
@jamesstein5087 great to see you again! I'm enough of a griddle newbie that I have yet to need a brick. I can see it in my future though. Lots of good stuff coming up. I hope you stick around.
@dave-tries Thanks for the inspiration! I probably wouldn't have done this if you hadn't said something. I mentioned "Rag in a Box", but there are others. Look in the paint section of a hardware/big box store. They hold up so much better than paper towels, and I've been forbidden from using cloth towels - LOL. Thanks again for your continued support. If if you have any other good ideas, I'm all ears.
If all goes according to plan, next up will be "Burgers from the Burger Stand of my Youth". So around 1970 or so, before McDonalds was available in these parts.
The rag in the box, does it leave lint like the regular paper towels? I was tempted to get some rags or cheap towels to try and stop that from happening. Thanks!
The Rag in the Box seem to be pretty lint free, compared to paper towels. I'm sure it varies from brand to brand, but I've had pretty good luck with the brands that I have tried. Good luck and thanks for watching!

Awesome video. Thanks for doing it. I need to look into the rag in the box you use.
