That's my configuration. ASRock B650M Pro RS Wifi, Ryzen 5 7600X, 32GB DDR5 and a shiny new Intel Arc B580 LE. I bought all of that from NewEgg, but my free SSD was a 2.5 inch Sata drive. I did a white build for my system, so that black Intel card kinda sticks out, but I don't care. It's been mostly good so far.

There will be enough of them in the coming month(s), but it is a great card and people know it. All the board partners have stated they made a lot, they just got sold almost instantly.

Apparently MSI Afterburner isn't always showing the 75W of power the card is getting from the PCIe slot for the Battlemage cards, so that's why the power usage looks so low

I wonder how long the reference card will be available for, cos I've heard a few people refer to it as a "limited edition" card - and I must say I'm not a fan of the design of partner board manufacturers. I much prefer the darker more subdued look of the reference one, including how the fans look too. And I'd REALLY love to buy one next year after I've saved up for a bit because it will be perfect for a more budget computer replacement for my uncle's ancient AIO machine that has reached the end of its life.

i've been trying to get my hands on that b580 since release, haven't been able to. needed something decent that could game and stream. was running an ryzen 5600 and grabbed an open box 7800xt at microcenter. was getting really bad performance with this combo, cpu was steadily at 98-100% utilization while running marvel rivals, and the graphics were artifacting. one option i had was making a jump to the AM5 platform but my budget at moment was really just the cost of that 7800xt. Ended up grabbing a an Arc A770 sparkle luna oc edition and a 5700x3d after returning the 7800xt. it handles what i needed decently, streaming at 1080 and decent frames at 1080 for marvel rivals. I can play at 1440 with decent frames as well havent tried streaming at that yet tho. all on low with frame gen enabled, 60-80+ fps. any insight on a decent streaming + gaming build would be appreciated, looking to get something beefy going within next month and will probably give this a770 to my son

the thing is i just built my PC yesterday with the samee RAM kit but with EXPO version and my god in case i enable expo i get BSOD i tried reseating ram updating, bios using single RAM stick Nothing worked idk what im supposed to do now . I can only use my PC if the RAM is at its stock speeds of 4800mhz
Why do AMDs new 65w chips have such temps compared to Intels 65w?? Like ive seen the 7600s go to 70 with a 240 aio, and ny 12400 doesnt even reach 60 with an ak400
Try setting the max cpu power usage in the advanced power management settings to 99%, it dropped my idle on 7800x3d from 65 to 45C idle with a 360AIO. I Came across it on a Reddit comment and was shocked it worked.

EDIT: I know, I know! I could have saved about $25 on the PSU by getting the Segotep, and I could have trimmed about $2 each in a few other places, then spent the difference on more RAM.
honestly would’ve just been better to have that 32 gb of ram for an am5 system especially seeing that you would still be under $800 but it’s not detrimental enough to make this good build bad
This seems by design, to me. Release limited supply at MSRP to lure interest; sell most to other manufacturers. Ultimately allow market to settle at same price as 3060ti and 4060.

Actually what you said about the airflow is incorrect. You always want more exhaust than intake air flow. This is true for everything related to ventilation. Been doing hvac-r for 15 years now so that’s my expertise.
Yeah well not for pc cases just cuz of where the fans are you always want that side intake and you cna simply add more exhaust on the top especially since the exhaust is right next to the cpu cooler and even though it isn’t overheating the cpu would be cooler by 5-10 c if the fans on the side are intake, you aren’t wrong either you’d just have to add more exhaust to the top

What is best is slightly higher intake / static pressure to help keep dust out, However, you want the pressures to be nearly equal for smooth airflow
