Walter, your questions will be answered in his life story he put out last week. It's 8 chapters and he put them in his Renmakesstuff UA-cam channel. It's very intense and a real gut punch but has a beautiful ending if you can see your way to the end. You seem to understand Ren so well but I'll guarantee that you will look at all his songs differently after you hear him lay it out. Thanks for your great reactions.

Well I see the other two comments already mentioned his 8 chapter story, he uploaded a chapter a day leading up to this song. No need to react to them but of all the reactors I follow, I think you would enjoy them and find them intriguing more than any of them, it's really quite a story, one which I thought I was familiar with, but boy was I wrong. It should also come close to answering your questions about the song timelines, but there was a several year stretch where he wasn't making music at all. Great reaction, as usual!! ✌💚
Ren has made it clear that he has begged God to give his suffering meaning cause he didn't know how long he could hold on. And although he hated every ounce, he understands why he had to go through it (awareness for others by his music) and that's why Ren "forgives" him. ❤ it hits so hard, cause we now have second hand experienced what it must've felt like to be that lost and found again. And I'm not Christian either. But i still feel this moment hard too.
I'll be the meteorologist for the comment section. In northern, colder climates it can get too cold and too dry to snow, especially out in Calgary. Snowfall requires a warm front to move in carrying moisture. So, judging by the fresh snow (there are very little tracks or dirt) and that it's falling while he's outside in it, we can estimate that the temps are between -2C/28F and probably -10C/14F, give or take. We aren't seeing a lot of his breath while he sings, so I'd say it's not too bad. Heck, for a Canadian that's hoodie weather. We put on a sweater to go out and warm up the car at -25C, while wearing our house slippers. Where he is, it can get down to -30C/-22F easily when it's dry, which is much too cold for snowfall. Anyway, back to regular programming. Hoping to see Ren in the comments confirming the temperature...
I moved from Phoenix to the mountains about a decade ago after 20 years in the desert. Honestly, it was much harder to get used to Phoenix when I moved there than the snow moving back. It took about 5 years for my body to adjust from being about a mile up in elevation with below zero temperatures in the winters to sea level and 115 degrees in the summer. Coming back it only took maybe a year.
On blizzard days, it gets dead silent between the lack of cars & the snow muffling the sound. It’s kind of magical. I used to love walking my dog in it because she could be off leash for a change & she would roll & make snow angels. On the days I had snow pants on, I started doing it with her. Pure joy!
I adored Arizona and never would have left if I hadn’t needed to be closer to family because of my own health struggles, but now I enjoy the cold as long as I don’t have to drive anywhere or walk on ice.

Gonna back up the recommendations that you watch Ren’s ‘chapters’ 1-8 on RenMakesStuff. They’re heartbreaking, funny, inspiring and they each include a piece of music from the time he’s referencing. Essential viewing.
With great power comes great responsibility, and Ren is truly a hero! He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he defiantly yelled a challenge to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick…
Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope. A beautiful hero that the world needs ❤️🐰🕳️

Sounds a lot like acceptance. The limo ejected him and then came bask to pick him up. But he bever got in . He walked on alone. Limo= music industry? Or maybe just success.
Think that limo was only a coincidence. He and photographer Josh were driving around finding locations for this video in a black truck. In a snowstorm - not totally unusual for Calgary in early spring. Chilly enough for gloves and seeing the breath.

You should have watched the Chapters 1-8 on your own. Ren life story of his struggles. This makes reacting to “Troubles” easy on you & your followers. Maybe next time.
I dont know if you read this. But may i suggest a german artist, as emotional as AnnemayKantereit? its Philipp Poisel. Songs like "Mit jedem deiner Fehler" are hitting as hard as 12 years ago. He was the number one artist you were listening to, when having a heartbreak. Pure emotion, simple chord progressions but lyrics that hit hard. Would be amazing to watch you doping a reaction. Anyways its getting late. Thanks a lot anyhow!
