You don't hear complaints about Obama care because no voice is given to the millions that lost good affordable coverage like myself . The only voice is given to those who received what was taken from us .

Yes, thanks. As a business owner I had my self paid premiums jacked more than double during the ramp up to ACA and then it still went up constantly. The burden as always was stuck on the people in the middle with little to spare after two decades of stagnant wages and not on anyone else. Of course if you don't or can't work it's great...oh wait maybe not since I'm there now and haven't had any coverage for several years. The qualifications for it to be great are similar to getting an "Obama phone".

He’s 85 and he’s had “just about every disease”. Reason he’s alive I’m sure is not socialised medicine. I’m pretty sure he had the promptest treatment from the very best doctors.

    • @The1Helleri

He said it was working for a lot of people. That's different from saying that it works full stop. That's not even claiming that it works for a majority of people. Whether or not someone has it isn't the bar for whether or not someone can have an opinion on it. Just saying what sources people read and how often isn't a point or an argument. Any way of it, It's not his view but his interviews that makes him legendary. I don't much care what people like Larry King personally think. I listen to them to hear what people they talk to think. They're first and foremost a window to different perspectives.

KennyL: ...but if you bothered to read the introduction to the study, Dumb Dumb, the socialists who wrote it dismissed the credibility of Cuba's data since it beared no semblance to data collected for the 1980s in Cuba which was MUCH worse. It is believed that Castro's minions simply lied to make the dictator's regime look good on the international stage or that resources were suddenly being pumped into the dictator's cancer treatment program in the 1990s because of the dictator himself starting to get concerned about his own personal chances of coming down with cancer and needing treatments as he got older.
The data from the United States had no such lack of credibility and it was the U.S.A. that finished in the top 3 for ALL forms of cancer studied. The U.S.A. also held the number-1 spot for most forms of cancer studied, proving that freedom works and that socialist medicine kills more people than it helps:

Every American cotton plantation, after all, had a single-payer healthcare system set up for all the slaves. Every worker was covered by a DemocRAt-run plan because controlling somebody's access to healthcare is the best way of maintaining control of their minds. There's nothing better than fear to keep a slave obedient and submissive. Fear of being denied access to healthcare is one of the greatest fears so:

Really give Larry some credit for sitting down with Dave and having a conversation. What I appreciate about the IDW sphere is that they are willing to talk and associate with people they don't necessarily agree with. We did share the same former employer (CNN) and I agree that network news is morphing into something I no longer recognize. A lot of more mainstream / traditional news personalities still don't acknowledge new media or anything that threatens their way of life, but interviews like this at least move us forward. And let's be honest - on the upside, it would be hard to label Larry King as Alt-Right.

Its very sad, that Larry doesn't believe in God. I don't understand how people have a lot of hope in their lives, without a higher being beyond themselves. If God is a crutch, then there's none better than Jesus Christ. He alone explains both God's authority and God's love. God deserves to be worshiped above all else, because he's the supreme Creator. He created everything at the beginning, including space, matter, time, you, and me. If that's true, He deserves "thy will be done".

Did Stampy say a mix of socialism and capitalism? How about you prove the capitalist aspects aren't what's keeping the socialism form bankrupting the country causing mass starvation and a need for a slave class to replace the workforce and as a result end up being killed in mass?

No. Wrong! Every modern economy is a mix of capitalism, crony-capitalism, and state owned enterprises.

"Nobody has led their country longer than Castro, so somebody must like him" - King
Or he just held on to his power with an iron fist. Because that's what communist dictators do. That's like saying that people must really like the Kim family in N Korea because of how long they've been in power.

Wow I can't remember when I've seen so many salty comments for this show. A lot of it is just pure ego or can be summed up as you disagree with me so your old and out of touch. The comments have really shown how many people only think in identity politics and talking points and can't see things from various perspectives. We learn about people through others "news"( and always with an agenda) he gets his news from the people the "news" is about.

    • @dudeistpriest787
      @dudeistpriest787 5 років тому +7

You really couldn't be more right, and at this point I don't know why I bother looking at the comments, because good God is that shit getting more and more common. I know the people in the comments like to pretend they're having a discussion or an argument or whatever, but from an outsider looking in, it's just noise. Loud, nonsensical noise expressing half-baked opinions based on half-baked talking points and prejudices.

It's sad how conservatives have hijacked the vibe of this show, and are ruining the nuance a lot of us enjoyed, as evidenced by the largely ideological commentary.

I'm reading the commentaries and I am wondering where the free speech / open debate / intellectually curious crowd is. No one needs to share Larry King's views, but respecting them, and himself, would be nice. Outrage is getting boring.

@@GeoffreyEwart I did not go further than the top 20 comments, maybe that's why. Good news, then, I tend to share the views of most commenters here so I don't think I was looking for something I had preconceived, it rather came as an unpleasant surprise.

I thought the same thing Pierre. It disappoints me how the right wing is slowly absorbing this show, both in fandom and message. I enjoyed it most when it lived in the middle.

    • @pg3811

Yes, there is some sort of invisible law that seems to turns independent thinkers which are critical of the left into right-wingers, eventually. I feel like it also happened to Jordan Peterson, gradually. It seems hard to resist that polarization. It saddens me.

Larry, you are talking about only Repubs play politics here. Wow. The next time a Dem wins he can nominate Merrick Garland. Do you not think that a Repub can nominate who they want? Just a Dem can? I have watched you since your first day at CNN. Lived your show but here you as a liberal act like all dems are wonderful and Repubs are all bad. Trump never says he is the best prez ever.
