Thanks so much for your video! saves me $$$ from the shop! Didn't know until today how easy to get your boat in good condition, test run it after oil change and the filter and what a sweet ride! Runs smoothly 😊
Glad to help
The anti-seize controversy! I've been using copper anti-seize on plugs for 30 years. An extremely light coating. Even on NGK's. Last thing I ever want to deal with is a stuck or snapped plug. I've never had an issue. When I wrenched for Jaguar it was required, and we used NGK's.
Thanks so much! Appreciate the info!
I have the 2004 sportster. Unless I missed something I didn't hear you say you started it to warm it prior to extracting the oil. I am new to these so just seeking info. Thanks for a great video though.
The only necessary thing now is to take it out for a test ride!!!LOL!!!
Ready for a rip n dip🤘🌊shaow!
Great video ... thanks for posting this.. you made it look really easy.
Anybody got a picture of the bottom of the filter housing? Pulled the cap off the housing and pulled the filter out and at the bottom where the threads are looks to be missing.
you made that look way to simple!!
That is really thick oil for startup. There’s a reason that BRP switched to 5W40 in everything.
Hey man I have a 2005 sportster scic and I lost the yellow insert for the steering wheel. I can't find it anywhere. Would you happen to know of anywhere I could get a replacement?
Do you know zero fittings you need to grease I just recently picked one up and I can’t find anything on greasing the shaft or anything
Why not the Rotella T6 Full Synthetic 5W-40 oil?
What is the spark plug gap supposed to be ?
Looking forward to fuel filter n any fuel related maintenance from sitting to long
Did you figure out the gauges?
How you remuve the oil from the engine?
There is no link for the oil extractor
Fixed! Thanks for the headsup 💪
