Ty has set the bar for akaline cooking and i am delighted to say you have exceeded the standard. Thank you Manny 😊 for all you've taught me thus far. 🙏
Another we'll made video. I've never heard of Zucchini bread. Appreciate the eye opening recipe. Looks so nice and moist. Reminds me of my dad's bread✨
Oh my! I miss your videos. I have been so busy that i have not been cooking lately 😣 But I'm back in the kitchen. So thank you for the easy to follow & super dope vids. 💯💜👌🏿
If you're vegan and not alkaline vegan, I'd say, use regular flour and other vegan ingredients (e.g. baking soda). It will come out way better. Thanks Akunna!
@@Grubanny I typically eat whole food plant based and am wrapping up a 30 day water fast. After this, I plant to incorporate ~70%+ alkaline meals, so your channel has been a godsend! 🙏🏾✨ I’ll likely try it as is for myself and may try just the vegan recipe if I plan on sharing with friends and/or family! Thanks for the tip, bestie! 😁
Looks good. Will be good to add a comparative nutritional chart vs non alkaline bread for those of us who aren’t living the alkaline life, but may want to try this out.
Good idea. Charts are a nightmare to build if you don't have the required plug-in(s). It's never off the table though. I attempted them in one or 2 earlier videos. I'll try to incorporate them into more videos. Thanks man
Love the channel, he gets right to the point! I made this recipe today and it taste great but needed more sweetness. The flour ratio to the wet ratio did not work out the best for me as mine was lumpy. I had to add more liquid. I did use his suggestion in the comments below on using aquafaba instead of sea moss gel and it worked great as the loafs were fluffy. The additional liquid I used was sparkling water to help with fluffy ness. I will use this recipe again but add more sweetness such as Agave sugar, cinnamon and date sugar. Thanks for the yummy recipe!
Nice! Thanks a lot for the comprehensive feedback. Sparkling water is always a good addition to Alkaline baking. Your comment would help others who like it sweeter too. I'm glad everything worked out well.
I love your videos! Would like to know where you get your date syrup from, it looks nice and thick. I love Zucchini bread and yours is a healthier version than what I'm used to. Thanks for the reply.
Yes you can. Cut the suggested amount of milk in half, then replace the other half with aquafaba. Remember, the Zucchinis would add a huge amount of water to the mix. If you're going with aquafaba, then add about an eight (about 2 tablespoons) of a cup of Spelt flour to the recipe to balance out the moisture. Also adjust your sweeteners to match. It would come out great.
THANK YOU ice been looking for a zucchini bread with no baking powder or soda 😩 especially since i’m trying to be 100% raw vegan.. Can you make this without apple sauce??
This looks incredible! So moist and rich looking. I’ve never tried spelt or kamut but I’m very nervous about it having gluten. I’m not allergic but sometimes might itch because of gluten. Overall I’m just trying to stay away from it so what would be the best flours to pair together to make it gluten free?
@@Grubanny will do 👊👊👊👏🏻🔥🔥🔥 can you make a sweet and sour mushroom "chicken" with chickpea n spelt flour for the batter then use Soursop juice as the pineapple replacement an add home made Roma tomatoes paste and Annatto for the colour 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👊👊👊 On a bed of wild Rice or QUINOA
Niiiice. I'll look into it. I can't seem find Soursop though 😢 I don't buy it from small sellers because the mark up is over the top lol. I'll see if I can find it at my local farmer's market.
Mr. Grubanny, my question could be a bit disturbing cuz when you propose a recipe the ideal is follow it as it’s. However, I don't have any of the proposed flours is there any chance of doing it with almond flour a good replacement for? Or any other suggestion ? Ps pretty difficult to find your option where I live . Thankyou
If you're living the Alkaline Vegan Lifestyle, then you have to use those flours (Spelt, Kamut, Amaranth, Rye, Quinoa, etc.). If you're Vegan, then you can use any available flour.
Manny - In your note under the video it states "My Zucchini Bread recipe is meant for Alkaline Vegans i.e. those living a gluten free alkaline lifestyle. " However, spelt contains gluten. When zucchini is in season next year, I will try this with quinoa flour.
You talking my alkaline lifestyle to a whole new level!

Love your get to the point videos and delicious recipes! I would really like to make this, though i was wondering do we have to add the sea moss?
Omg! I've only ever had commercial zucchini bread - and loved it. I MUST make this version!
Yummm. Been craving some carrot muffins, but will definitely try these instead! 😌

Thank you so much. It's even more delicious when toasted. You can find the link to the date syrup I used in the description box. Thank you.
Can you use aquafaba (the juice from chickpeas), in place of the sea moss gel?

@@Grubanny thanks for your answer. I’ll be doing it with quinoa flour then ! 🙂
I'm wondering ... if adding walnuts to the recipe, can I add the walnuts and spring water mixture without straining it through a milk bag?
Most definitely. It would come out great. I didn't want the walnut flavor to overpower the Zucchini's milder flavor. You should be alright. Enjoy!
I had to subscribe bet yours is a lot better than Whole Foods zucchini bread ! It was drying
Do I have to add sea moss?
