@A E yea i had bangs before but they're so hard to maintain and the salons screw up most of the times. So i don't use bangs anymore 😭

You could try to do it yourself too. I had bangs as a kid and preteen but they were kinda thick and didnt look good on me at all. Later in my teens I started cutting them on my own, thinner, blended out to the rest of the hair, in my style, and it looks totally amazing. It can always grow out if it doesnt work out!

Depends on how you want your hair I think
They should have knowledge of the different hair types since they are considered professionals but probably not have much experience actually working with curly hair types if most of their clients have straight-ish hair.
For those who think that are just flat ironing their hair: that’s what the first step is to eliminate any wave or curl before they proceed with the perm because the chemicals in the perm break down the bonds in the hair and now it will take on the form of whatever the hairdresser wants. So if the client wants straight hair, they straighten it and apply the perm and let it process on the straight hair. But if they want a little bit of curl on the bottom they use curlers for the hair to mold on to. Obviously perm damage your hair but so does heat and coloring. These hair dressers are most likely certified so they know what they’re doing and what’s best for their clients hair so it’s not destroyed at the end. And honestly-ITS JUST HAIR. ITS NOT YOUR HAIR. AND IT WILL GROW BACK.

By curly, they mean very light wave. And they put chemicals and then proceed to flat ironing the hair. Looks pretty in the video but not sure about the later results. At least the hairdresser cut out some of the damaged hair.
They are not ironing the hair. It's a special tool they are using which just vibrates and creates permanent results.

Curl hair here more likely damaged and broken hair because wrong procedure from coloring hair that them do it alone. their real hair not that bad. thanks the hair stylist can fix it.
