I don't think you are meant to use the hammer function when you have the drill chuck attachment fitted. That is more for non-hammer drill bits like wood

I've seen soviets using metal bits on steel with the hammer on. When told they were destroying the bit, they replied "No, it's faster this way."
You can only do so much...

Hi Bro, thank you for the review and test of the hammer drill. Two remarks: the round shank chuck is not allowed to be used neither to hammer drill nor to chiseling but only to drill; the third position on the work mode switch is only to position the flat chisel - it can be done by hand grabbing the chuck. Greetings from Poland.

Andrew, if you watch closely ,you will see that in the reverse mode the trigger is limited to rpm ,but in normal direction, clockwise, you can push the trigger all the way in. Also the sparks are visible only in reverse mode. Also the maker this time isn't compernass nor grizzly. The maker is owhim.

40 to 50€ would be a more adequate price for that POS from parkshit.
I can see this having it's use, that said, I have used similar/equivalent POS from Leroy Merlin, and 100% guaranteed IT WILL BREAK in no time.
Anything beyond the occasional drilling for hanging a wedding picture, or a bathroom mirror, maybe hanging a chandelier, this parkshit POS is only good to take space in storage.
Even a Bosch, yes probably twice the price or little below, is far, far superior to this POS, and worth the money if you're doing more than just hanging Christmas decorations.
If you're serious about your drilling, get a DeWalt, Wurth, Festool...

50 euros is its price. There is a torture test from a Nederlands guy, that totally smashes the tool, and survived easily. The built quality is second to none and the mechanism inside is labeled from trw. An oem maker for many tools including makita ,total and the now american company flex and car parts.

      @@user-du6op6qx5s Not here it isn't.
You are confusing the word "second" with "last", and the word "none" with "everyone".
If you really think that by buying this parkshit you're getting Makita quality... You better get back on your meds sunshine.

@@zefautino leave the sunshine charac terism for your family and children. I see you know about meds. Seems you are experienced then. And if I wanted to go pro i would preferred hilti instead of the makita toys, a company that in order to keep up with the big players , pumped their cordless tools to 40 and 80 volts, while hilti in the 22v platform still outperforms them. And makita is one of the very few companies that doesn't have brushless corded tools yet. Shame!!!!

@@user-du6op6qx5s Good luck justifying the cost of Hilti if you're not using it everyday.
You are the one who brought Makita to the conversation, not me sunshine.
You that understand so much about tool technology, can you explain me what's wrong with brushed tools. Mind you, this drill Andrew is testing is brushed.
