ZTD has a lot of faults, but in terms of art style and graphics, it's very much the VLR's superior.

I don't know about the silvers files, but the gold files will just outright talk about things that happen on other routes, it's really badly designed.

can anyone give me the rundown on why he assumes Alice is Lotus? he did it in the first game too, but it feels like there's nothing connecting them other than they're both scantily clad women, they don't really look any alike
Absolutely no idea, just Joe being Joe.
Given how bizarre and abnormal Clover looks now in comparison to the first game, Joe is probably assuming its a stylistic choice or from the game’s graphics, especially since Alice acts very close to Clover. Doesn’t help the clothing palette is so similar with the heavy on gold and impractical attire choice.
What did he do in the first game?
@hanatemonstas4485 In 999 there was a line from one character about something like "someone who knew the ship must be here", hinting towards the Hongou twist, but Joe combined it with the mummy story to say Lotus was actually the mummy who woke up and was walking around. Mostly because there was no explanation why she was dressed in her weird style.
