It's crazy that after being exposed to weeb stuff for a long time, i just realized that this plot synopsis is wild to the average people but really fucking tame for me lmao
fuck I REALLY want to see him watch spyXfam now holy shit plot synopsis, while accurate, feels even more goofy then the show, since it comes across as a funny little show with a twist
it's one of those "anime that doesn't really feel like anime, more like just a cartoon" type shows so I'm not surprised you enjoyed it despite not being someone who usually watches anime
its crazy how spyxfamily can have a wild and out there fun sounding plot synopsis like this and just be completely garbage, unfunny, and bland. Anime is made for the lowest common denominator.
@@blademaster4361 I mean this in the nicest way possible, because I was once in the position you are and I'm feeling really nice and happy right now, but no it fucking isn't. Seriously, it isn't. There are like, maybe 5, anime that have ever existed that are genuinely good. Branch your interests out a bit and you will find that there is stuff out there that is so good it will make you understand anime for what it is (childrens shows and garbage)
@@noarmsnolife6665 Sonny, my weeb days were done years ago. Your insistence on patronizing me is emblematic of your weakness, aided by the fact that you didn't bother to argue your point. I liked Spy x Family for the charming cast and for its comedy, though I can't say much about the overarching plot as of yet, and I will forever respect it as an inspiration for my own writing, albeit in a small way.
- "I was once in the position you are and I'm feeling really nice and happy right now" Am I interpreting this correctly? Do you mean to tell me you associate anime with depression? If so, I think that's a personal issue, dude. Something like Hajime no Ippo is not high art, but the classic shonen theme of self-improvement in that show was done well enough that it motivated me to get fit and start boxing where just a few months ago I was chubby and sedentary. There's a ton of Oscar-bait out there I've sunk my time into that couldn't even pull that off. If, however, you're arguing that animated shows in general are childish trash or whatever, I have to ask why you're vicariously watching a dude play video games? There's not a whole lot of meaningful artistry in this sort of entertainment, now is there?

Try to explain what Oshi no Ko is about to an average person, that's the challenge
What's so weird about it? It's pretty average for cartoons
i mean anime is just cartoons for kids right? its not too crazy. honestly i hope this anime is a comedy because the premise sounds fucking hilarious
@@fluke7506you're in luck, it is a comedy and I'd say its a pretty good one too
@@yehuda8589 omg i gotta watch it. like i said the premise is fucking so dumb it sounds hilarious
Hearing him be absolutely THROWN by the premise is so funny, especially knowing he's aware of more out-there stories
Lock it in
It's genuinely a great wholesome comedy.

I don't usually watch anime but when UA-cam started recommending me clips from the show that were adorable I decided to watch it and it was funny.

Why is it so weird to him , it sounds like the average Saturday morning cartoon. Especially reminds me of Kim possible
Spy x is so good
Sounds like he's in
Hope he'll check it out cuz both manga and the show are good 🎉
LOCK IT IN
He LOVES it :Pog:
Spy x Family is tight
You should check it out before season 2 airs in October. It's gonna be a really good one.
hehe... they are unaware...
Anyone know if he ever watched it?

You can say that about many anime, but for God's sake, not Spy x Family. That show is cream.
