This was a great cover! I loved the back and forth between mario and Sonic, really felt like two old rivals poking at each other. And Luigi and Tail becoming friends was really fun too, really fit them better than fighting. All the pixel art in the video was also really good ! Loved all of it.

You know, this made me realize that despite how much Mario is praised compared to Sonic, he’s had his fair share of blunders as well. There’s the infamous Hotel Mario, Mario is Missing and Mario’s Time Machine, all of which not even Nintendo wants to mention. There was Super Mario Land and the latter two New Super Mario Bros. games. Several sports games like Ultra Smash, Tennis Aces, and Mario Golf Super Rush, and don’t get me started on the MarioParty games. That’s a rollercoaster of quality. Honestly, Mario’s bad games aren’t exactly buggy, but they are very poorly designed.
Hotel Mario isn't exactly good but it was a big part of the YTP comunnity so... ig Mario is Missing and Mario's time machine aren't mentioned as much, Super Mario Land is actually quite nice and famous (didn't they add that one flower on SMM as well?), idk what Ultra smash, Tennis aces, and etc. are, but the Mario Party games are still quite famous and remembered, despite its flaws

Gonna be real, while I do love this there are a few things that kinda bring it down just a bit I mean some of Mario's lyrics don't even rhyme and just sound out of place, examples being 0:29 and 2:07 The voices needing to sound 8-bit to fit the song leads to some parts sounding less like a song and more like just garbage noise with an 8bit instrumental hard making it hard to sit through sometimes (also adding on with how the lyrics sound sort of out of place but I already said my peace on that) An example would be the entire tails and Luigi duet starting at 1:16 Again not saying I hate it I'm just pointing out some things that kinda threw me off

Gonna be real, while I do love this there are a few things that kinda bring it down just a bit
I mean some of Mario's lyrics don't even rhyme and just sound out of place, examples being 0:29 and 2:07
The voices needing to sound 8-bit to fit the song leads to some parts sounding less like a song and more like just garbage noise with an 8bit instrumental hard making it hard to sit through sometimes (also adding on with how the lyrics sound sort of out of place but I already said my peace on that)
An example would be the entire tails and Luigi duet starting at 1:16
Again not saying I hate it I'm just pointing out some things that kinda threw me off
