- Come hang out with me/us for a couple days! I share a car thrift haul. I think I thrifted the perfect piece for my lamp project. I also take y’all shopping at a Resale and Marketplace that has all kinds of different items.
James grills us an amazing steak and of course I have to harass him a little as we sit on the back porch. 🤣

Hi, love the shower curtain, similar to mine. Because i have a sweet kitty named Lilly Bella. I have a pic of two kittens in a bathtub. And a couple other really cut pic of bathtubs. Love them. I love the prints in there now. But knowing you, you will find other prints for it. Nice they can always be changed. Love your decor... can't wait to see your Fall decor. I just love fall. Love watching you and james. When my hubby was alive, I was a hairdresser for 20 years, and lived going into the Beauty Supply Store. He would take me and say.."you have 5 min in there" i told him i couldn't get in there in 5 min. Lol nice to have thoes memories. Love all you do.❤

Good afternoon Donna! So much fun with James on the weekends! Perhaps, you could title these “Weekends with James”! Anyway, I certainly identified with you about trying to call James only to find out he didn’t bring his phone! That very thing happened with my husband this past weekend! Lol 😆! The antique piece for $95 called “early server” is what I’d say “late to buy”! Rather pricey, huh?! But, there will be another day for great finds! Your shower curtain and pictures look great! They have that “bringing the outside in” garden feeling! Perfect for Summer! 💕

The best place that I find to thrift is little church thrift stores. The antique malls are off the charts. Goodwill is gotten ridiculous as well. I have best luck at little hole in the walls. That small pitcher for 99 cents was a nice deal.
I love supporting the small church thrift stores too. I like looking at the antique stores but I rarely buy. I prefer to thrift…😄
You, Julie and Stephanie have gotten me hooked on thriftin! I just love the hunt. It's amazing how proud( prices) some people are of their items. I guess they just want them for display because if it's not a fair price then I ain't a buying! Those pictures look pretty in your bathroom. I love the shower curtain too. Loved your thrifting and haul. I love antique & vintage places but some do tend to be a bit pricey. I’m looking for butter pats too but I haven’t been able to find any so far. Hilarious! James just couldn’t help from laughing today 😂 Love those pictures in the bathroom and the curtain with it. So pretty.
I was late getting here today, I had 40 pounds chicken tenderloins in marinade since Saturday noon and hubby and I grilled them, cut them up and pressure canned them this morning. Saturday we canned 33 pints pizza sauce. It feels so good to see my basement shelves being replenished again 😁 Tomorrow I need to go to Aldi and Lowes so guess where I’m stopping? I can’t help not to, it’s right there across the parking lot!! 😂

I enjoy your bits and pieces of life videos! As you said it's real life and I so like it. I agree the prices were a bit out of my budget for thrifting. The butter pats wete so pretty but I understand why you passed on them. Hopefully you will find some more at a better price ! Tell James his steaks looked amazing !! You could always hire him out to cook 🤗

Late watching today. Laughing at y’all talking about James leaving his phone at home. He must be related to my hubby. He leaves his phone at home a lot! I loved the little pitcher you bought. The shower curtain looks great and the frames but I think I would change the prints in them. I’m looking for butter pats too. I thought they were 8.00 for all. Didn’t realize they were $8 each!

Don’t tell James but he and Buster are starting to look alike. They both have serious expressions on their faces, graying hair/fur around their mouth and they both listen to you very well lol. It’s easy to see that you love them both dearly!
I actually tell him that all the time! 🤣🤣🤣 They have the same expressions and both give me that same side eye…😜

The floral prints in the gold-tone filigree frames look really nice in the bathroom.
I have one of the same ones that I found at the Goodwill. I put it up on a gallery wall in my guest room.
I was curious about it and they do have a bit of value as they are, so I decided not to change out the print even though it is a bit dark for my taste.
Hope you are able to find a set of butter pats at a decent price. I lucked out, found a set of 4 taped together at a small thrift store for 75 cents! They are Limoge from France!

Holy Toledo - $295.00 for that pot!!!! That is absolutely unreal. I recently got a really old kitchen scale That I love. It’s a true antique ad has definitely ban used a lot. I did have to pay up some on it, but I know that the reproductions were selling for the exact same price. However, I did get a beautiful, large matted and framed piece of art last weekend at an Estate Sale for $15.00!, I’m going to send you a picture of it because my mind is still blown that I got it for that price. It’s “The Pitcher Girl” by Thirion.

We have 4 antique stores in our small downtown, one is in a beautiful refurbished brick 2 story building and the others are in small store fronts, items in the 3 small ones are half the price of the 2 story store and basically have the same or like items. I don’t shop at the 2 story one, it’s not my job to help them pay for their fancy building 😂

Thank you! I got that set from Bed, bath, and beyond years ago. It’s actual a more coral color. I thought it was red when I ordered it. I decided to keep it and I’m so glad I did.
I use to say I’d never thrift but boy did I change. I’m so glad I did. I can find and by so much more thrifting than I could buying retail. 😄
