My parents, are around 70 and horrified by how many young people on my generation are overweight. They never saw it in their youth. And we are talking about "health- oriented" Europe,not the USA or the middle east.

they had the beginnings of an alphabet script. but nothing was standardised. few different forms of letters existed, like fonts etc. with the writing down of the quran. it standardised and unified the Arabic script and formally developed the written version of arabic.
