'A Bug's Life' was the very first movie I took my young son to see in the late 90s. A movie filled with the Disney integrity and values of honesty, loyalty, devotion to family and inspired individual free will to work against a totalitarian mentality of servitude. Bugs land was the ultimate in cute themed land, compared to Avengers campus where it doesn't feel particularly "themed" at all, simply throwing nods to all the characters in one big cement covered pad really doesn't feel give it much in the way of cohesiveness. I mean the Bug's Life show was nice, don't get me wrong but that wasn't going to carry the whole area, it was too small to really be called a "land" it was an area for tiny kids, akin to what Toontown was (minus Roger Rabbit), but once you have no use for a "toddler's area" I'm sorry but yeah you really want to just give a big fat skip to it and get me something better, unfortunately they only gave us Spiderman which is a cool ride but with Lightning Lane is infuriating, and they a bunch of themed stores/restaurants and shows.

@@FM7StudiosSadly... NOPE. My kids didn't like it either when they were little - we lived in OC and had annual passes and sometimes would go 2-3 times a week. They would cry. I can't blame them. I think what I didn't like was... 1) they took the original parking lot which was nostalgic in itself to try to create a money grab 2) DCA was like a tiny "wanna be" version of Epcot or the DisneyWorld areas. I really think they should have done something that wasn't a California theme... I mean you're already in California. If you want to go see a studio there's Universal or the lesser known (but more fun if you're into films like me) the Warner Bros tour... Paramount also has a tour. And if you want to see Hollywood Blvd... just go there. ETC> ETC> I suppose they thought they would grab the out of country tourist and give them a dose of California, except that for the longest the majority of visitors were locals. I saw a stat that shows it is around 71%-80%. So I just can't see why they would push California. To take the parking lot and diminish the allure (if you can remember it) of parking and walking towards the great gates to enter Disneyland to make a pretty dull IMO experience was a waste of billions of dollars. But if you have to for money grab they should have made it a different experience altogether. I know others love it... I just can't see the point of it.

Another thing is in the new Pixar place hotel, there is a bugs land light fixture.
So glad they put that in!
avengers campus is awful. its a total let down. how do you go from 4 attractions to 1. it just doesn't make sense. the area also feels to open, and is really hard to follow along with the "story" of what is happening in the area. Bugs land used the space wisely, and the area felt never ending. i loved the giant clovers, and all the audio in the land, while avengers campus has this sort of meh audio and theming. sad that it had to go. :(
I swear, whenever I step into the Avengers Campus, I say "Man... I want to be in Bug's Land right now..."
Never got to see Bugs Land but wasn't really impressed with Advengers Campus
1:08 Okay thats just so funny! Dca was such a flop that even The Simpsons made fun of it!
I know, I love this clip!
is there like. lore behind the parks. why tf does Antman just HAVE that section of the park XD
I didn’t get to do It’s tough to be a bug when we just went to animal kingdom. Found out it’s gonna be a new zootopia world. I’ll miss bug‘life but I do love zootopia.
It’s fun for an older crowd and terrifying for children, lol!
Can ya talk about why they closed splash mountain
I’m planning to do a video on Splash Mountain video when the new attraction opens.
11years and 2 days later I was born
This was a good video. Where did you get the old footage of DCA from at the beginning?
Here you go! ua-cam.com/video/M8spIZyhaIw/v-deo.htmlsi=gFSEkci9yeTYCkob
@@FM7Studios Thanks! I like old footage like that.
My family and I prefer A Bug’s Land then Avengers Campus
Question 🙋♀️ please 🙏, is A Bug’s Land for children 👧 and families?
Amazing vid!
Thank you!
If they built California adventure today they would have had "fentynl forest"
A good video. One tip leave the music running just make it quiet.
Thanks for the feedback!
@FM7Studios up to you friend. Subscribed.
@@JustLittleOldMe9 Thanks!
Still waiting for a sequel
video starts @2:50
It was so much better then.
Nice video but do your research cause it was a big success when California adventure opened
Exactly 4:00
#DisneyDiva ❤
When you said usher in. We knew you were not talking about Usher lol. ❤
I know weak joke lol leftovers from the Superbowl lol.
N I love Bugland and I missed it badly.
However, since the pandemic, I have not been to DCA. I am not AP holder anymore and they make it harder now to it the passes especially the top passes which I need. Bc i can only go to Disneyland in March which late March my birthday and I go in Oct bc I love Halloween time at the park. So i have to buy regular tics and I can't afford both parks plus i am not into superheroes but Batman and I like to a degree the character Chadwick Boseman played and rip to him. But Batman, Joker, and Hailey Quinn are my favorites and that is DC.
this is a great video bro, but I gotta say, you sound and speak JUST LIKE Kevin Perjurer from Defunctland, almost thought this was a second account. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much, that’s a massive compliment!
@@FM7Studios It totally is! I'll check back around on your 1M sub special to say Ive been here since the start.
@@mateo6116 Ha, maybe one day!
I've never liked DCA.
Not even Cars Land? 🫢
@@FM7StudiosSadly... NOPE. My kids didn't like it either when they were little - we lived in OC and had annual passes and sometimes would go 2-3 times a week. They would cry. I can't blame them. I think what I didn't like was...
1) they took the original parking lot which was nostalgic in itself to try to create a money grab
2) DCA was like a tiny "wanna be" version of Epcot or the DisneyWorld areas.
ETC> ETC>
I suppose they thought they would grab the out of country tourist and give them a dose of California, except that for the longest the majority of visitors were locals.
Your title is wrong lol
