Reminds me of when martial law was declared, people with more concerned over k-pop idols/festivals than what's happening in the country. So self-centred
It’s crazy how I was JUST seeing those posts where people are complaining about stage cancellations….kpop stans need to understand that Korea and the idols there are ACTUAL people. The entitlement these freaks have is insane
I kinda understand in terms of Fromis because that was their last schedule under Pledis & they barely participate in these end of the year shows but everyone else it’s ridiculous because they performed at 3 things already (one was in Singapore)!!!
Exactly like people died and they are mad that they’re not going to see their faves on stage like have some respect for the dead and the families who lost love ones
Those K-pop stans need to go out and touch some grass. REAL PEOPLE DIED! And they are worried about a stupid performance. The performance gets to be rescheduled, but the people that died won’t get a second chance. To all of the victims and their relatives, this has to be an extremely tough time and I wish nothing but the best for you. That type of pain leaves a permanent scar.
K-pop is not more important than the lives of actual humans and the citizens of South Korea. K-pop idols aren't the only important or of value of South Korean people. South Korea is an actual place, more than that it's home to lots of people, old, young, middle-aged, or unborn. People grow up there, people exist there, and people work there, and their lives are just as much of value as yours and my faves. This is a tragedy. Let's all be mature, respectful, and most of all *human* about it.
r.i.p to the people who died during the plane crash and the victims out there. I understand how losing someone can be like especially if it’s someone important. I hope those families can find peace and comfort. I’m sorry this happened. (And to the fans who are mad at Chan for not going on live this Sunday respectfully double think about ur actions and get a reality check

3:50 is the part of the video where toxic “fans” plug there ears and scream “lalalalala i can’t hear you!” like honestly the concept of idols being human beings is so outrageously outlandish to them its like they’ve developed a fail safe that automatically blocks out and ignores the words “idols are human” whenever they’re in the same sentence.
I send my deepest condolences to all the victims families and all of my prayers to the victims and survivors. That's just genuinely a terrible horrific thing to happen to anyone.
Don't blame Tae for your stupid remarks... Big Hit made an official announcement asking ARMYs not to "celebrate" Tae's birthday on this terrible day... millions of ARMYs did but between the delay of the announcement and the first reports, posts and gifts were already gone... Our fanbases also alerted us and we will participate in the national mourning until January 4th... don't forget that there are also "antis" who use the slightest opportunity to smear HYBE even to the detriment of the grief of these grieving families. I have already presented my condolences on all possible sites and I join in the pain of the Koreans
@Apobangpo358 lmaooo there’s always an excuse from armys like you, the tragic event was reported all day Saturday which was yesterday so you had plenty of time prior to Bighit announcement to not send gifts and decorations to somebody’s birthday on the exact same time reports were coming out especially on AllKpop about people dying . Always blaming everybody else, nobody blamed Tae or mentioned Hybe here, I blamed your foolish actions as a fanbase.

My condolences go out to the victim's and their families and friends. Such a tragedy. Kpop fans need to get their head out of the clouds and stop thinking that everything is about them. Children died in that crash, for God's sake!!
When I had someone close to me pass away, I remember the loathing I had watching people just go about their day and being happy when my world was crumbling. I was one little soul who couldn't cope with a singular passing effecting people all around me. Anger and distaste towards people aren't what I'm trying to encourage. Just that, some people in grief, we expect will understand that life goes on, but they don't always in the moment. They are going through something excruciating that we all hope the people complaining never have to deal with. Being courteous to that is basic human decency.
I got into a back and forth with someone on twitter because they wanted to justify trending birthday tags in every language but Korean for Taehyung’s birthday when Big Hit already cancelled their celebration plans out of respect and mourning for the tragically departed. Those people on that plane, including a three year old little boy, will never see another birthday but this weirdo was pressed that I called them insensitive for wanting to trend birthday tags for him while HE is in period of mourning. They don’t even know if he had loved ones on that flight, but they said because Taehyung “saved” that trending tags in every language but Korean was okay. I wasn’t even astounded at the level of selfishness because the bar for empathy is in hades for some of these people and has been for a LONG time. Didn’t even consider Taehyung’s feelings as a Korean national and made it all about themselves. Then watching this video made me realize this level of mental illness wasn’t just inside my fandom, but across multiple fandoms. In 2025 I hope these people find a personality and stop using these k-pop idols as tools to shape their personal identities.
Like come one now have some respect for the families and for the dead like lives are lost and they’re mad because they won’t be able to see their faves in stage like no have some respect and have a heart for once “fans” need to have a heart and show at least some empathy for the people today like come on now
