Also I love how everything looks clean, tidy and linear in the beginning. Plus their visuals, the dancing, the editing etc. (like the punch transition and the part after that where jake is on the chair) this is one of my favourite music videos ever

i know i’ve already made my point 🫣 LMAO but i just thought of another reason to support adéla’s new song superscar - it’s a song about the exploitative nature of the entertainment industry and how it tries to take everything from you (leaving you with a superscar rather than becoming a superstar) adéla herself is first on the writing credits, she’s truly involved with the creative process, which is refreshing to know, compared to the majority of idols whose teams decide on concepts for them. also it’s a BOP. like the tune goes SO HARD. her vocals are incredible and the choreography.. man, you just have to see it. i can’t help but keep rewatching it.

The symbolism for the heat and the office connects to their lore. if vampires go in the sun they burn, so bc theyre at the office means theyre willing to burn themselves to be with their lover. hence the office is so hot it can cook a steak and even though there are ac's its still too hot. so they jump in the pool to cool down. the mv ends at night where they can be themselves for their lovers.
