Hey there! I'm just wondering what the 'thockiest' switches and board would be. As I use mac, I am limited by options. Any tips would help greatly. I'm thinking about the neo80 or the QK65 v2. Thanks!
With foam, both the Neo80 and the QK65 V2 will be able to give you a thocky sound, so it really comes down to which form factor you prefer between the two + any design details you would prioritize (i.e. the Qk65 V2 has a more unique design and badge(s) vs. the Neo80 is a little more "standard" in terms of looks, but has a great ball-catch latch system that makes opening the board up a breeze).
For thockiest switch, this is something I'm not certain of anymore. Recently I've been enjoying the WS Morandi switches a lot, but I can also recommend the Akko Cream Yellows as an alternative. I don't have any with me at the moment, but the thockiest that I can recall ever using were the Gateron Black Inks.

Might be the switches and the foam (lack thereof) - I have the WS Morandi switches and all layers of foam for the one in this video!

All sound great, but I think KiiBOOM and Alice took the lead that year
The KiiBOOM really surprised me at first because I didn't think it would sound that good. But it was a pleasant t surprise - super smooth and thocky out of the box 😌
