When someone tries to intimidate you THEY are usually intimidated by YOU. Some call it jealousy or envy but the root emotion is fear. They are afraid of you; your gifts, your God-give charisma.
But what if those sheep are your own mother, father and all of your siblings though? When you come from a very toxic family of origin, it's hard to be indifferent about the people who are supposed to love you most and have your back more than any others on Earth constantly treating you like crap and less than good enough.
@@movingonandup322 I know it is hard but if you can learn to accept that they are the way they are then it will be easier to accept anyone else being the way they are. My family was very toxic as a child. My father was very abusive physically and mentally. As a child i despised him.. As i got older and through counseling and therapy i learned that he was treated poorly as a child so i innerstood that he was only doing what he learned so it was easier for me to forgive. We have a great relationship today but i have never been 1 to hold a grudge. I am always willing to forgive. Love yourself and you will need nobody else approval. Forgive those who do you wrong and kill em with kindness. 🙏 i pray that you are able to forgive because holding onto anger and resentment will poison you from the inside and that will ultimately effect those you care about. Keep your heart safe and strong.

You helped each other get better and grew closer in the process. How beautiful. You were your father's angel. I believe that! I know you're right about what you say, but my ego clinges. Some days I am better at accomplishing what you advised me to do than other days. Some days I feel fairly at peace with the past and them. I'm certainly not fully at forgiveness on those days (and probably never will be tbh) but I'm not full of rage and crying oceans of tears either. However, on bad days I'm so angry. Obsessing about what my mother did to me, and my father did, or what this or that sibling did and said. How they're all doing so great and I'm at total rock bottom. My life has shattered into pieces. Broke. Living in my car. Unemployed. Hiding from the world. Struggling in many ways. Some days feel actually OK despite how bad things are. But other days (like yesterday)... man... I can end up in full-blown melt down with crying and raging. The memories from 9 people targeting me (mom, dad and 7 siblings) are overwhelming, and I was the youngest. I was targeted for decades. Not loved by any of them despite me chipping pieces of myself away to offer to some of them in the hopes that if I sacrificed my needs for theirs, they'd give me love that I so desperately yearned for but never got. Of course, that didn't work and made them prey upon me even more in fact. I was the most damaged and vulnerable and so I was "kicked around" a lot by everyone. Everyone followed my mother and father's lead in treating me like I didn't matter. Some physical, but mostly verbally and psychological abused. Low class, degenerate family with a very uncivilized culture. I haven't had contact with my family for years. I soooo wish I would have cut them out decades back and moved to a different state, built a separate and distant life and only saw them 1-2 ×/year just to fly under the radar without too much exposure to them to avoid a clear break off that would attract attention. Just fade out over years. I am currently just trying to stay in the moment, focus on my life and daily goals and rebuild my life. It's a challenge but I'm doing my best. I go through this anytime I have to interact with people. It’s always someone making a little slick comment. I’m more mature now, so I play it humble.. they eventually look stupid in the end when you stay calm and remain you.
My coworkers tell me they go out of their way to make fun of me. I laugh with them and it just makes them mad. So I really don’t talk to them anymore, it’s drama stress and BS It doesn’t ever bring me down anymore
Yes, devaluation is common in a narcissistic world. Especially as an empath or Chosen...Since it started happening as a kid, I got good at "I'll show you!". It is their inferiority and demons, insecurities.
To an extent, good looking people pretty much do get everything in most cases. The issue is people assume that all good looking people are cocky, arrogant and full of themselves, just because they take care of themselves by expressing self-love. That's just the way worldly people think.

Constant streams of anything from microaggressive comments or act to outright jealous attacks or competitive jabs in comment or action to try to make you less than them and beneath them while they're trying to beat you in any way - petty and/or big ways, it doesn't matter. Then they get treated like objects by men who think they can "get" them (sleep with them or date them, etc...). Men will hit on them for their looks and be totally disinterested in their heart or mind. And the motive of all of those men to speak to them is solely sexual, and they know it. You never engage in conversation with a man who is speaking to you to connect with you intellectually or emotionally. And then they get treated like garbage by men who don't think they could ever have a chance with them, so many of those men will be anything from dismissive to outright mean or rude. This happens in a bar as much as it does in a workplace. It's not all rainbows and kittens to be very good looking like many people assume it is. There are definite advantages, sure, but there are also several definite and significant drawbacks that many don't see too.

Sometimes I question God “Why me? Why did you chose me? Out of all the people on the earth?” The purpose he’s given me will have the power to change the world, literally & i’m not joking. So I don’t even feel worthy enough to be in this position. But I’m humbled enough to except my destiny.

It's like people having big egos for a talent they lack. Think of singing auditions, when some of the contestants strut with an attitude and can't sing a lick! At least, HAVE A TALENT and be very good at it (only then would an ego be justified), but these people can't even blink right but are telling you to humble yourself!!!!
I feel kinda silly, being my age, and knowing what I know, but I still try to make sense out of the way people treat me, cause I just for some reason refuse to accept that it's actually possible for people to be so lost, and ignorant...I wish I wasn't like this, but it's just so hard for me to just accept the truth about the world I live in. I wish that I could.

You're right it is often jealousy. It can also be an unwillingness of heart on the other person's part in trying to "humble" another they have an unwillingness to learn. I heard something pretty sharp from a smart person as observing there are some people who only know how to deal with superiors and Interiors as categories of people in their lives. If you don't fall into these categories or you fall into a superior category they don't deal with too well they can want to put you in an inferior category so they know how to interact with you since they are used to that comfort zone. On the other side of the coin those of us who are feelers need to strengthen and work on communicating logically to thinkers to speak speak language.

It's true, I'm 39 and I have been having this happen to me all my life. I have been around a lot of very smart people, they always make me feel as if I don't belong even in my own career. It's not my chosen path in life yet but sometimes to care for those you love you have to let go of a dream career/job. At least long enough to make things right in your personal life. I didn't always realize what people were trying to do to me. It effected me greatly and made me depressed and I started to think they were right. Then I realized it's just their opinion and usually I had skill sets that were unique and something that they could not do and they tried to make it out as it was beneath them. I eventually caught on later in life and started to shrug off all their attacks and kept my mind healthy. As long as I believed in myself they could do nothing to me.

The other thing I have observed is what I call "dry-welling." This is a technique that haters use when deliberately withholding any encouragement or interest in you and your aspirations. If "loved ones" or "friends" NEVER ask about your goals or encourage you in any way, they know you are thirsty for help...and they are dry-welling you because they are envious. In the past, they have heard you say what you are hoping for...and that you could use some encouragement...but they withhold...dry-welling you is covert opposition. It's a form of abandonment.

I really needed to hear this message today, after another job rejection because my assessment score was not high enough in analysis skills for a paperwork position. I felt so down about myself and felt like I did not “fit into” the box I was out into. I really did not want the position because I have other heart desires to accomplish. I thought I would “settle” for a position to get work. I recently earned a bachelors degree, and I literally cannot get hired for some reason or another. I have all but given up!! I do stay down for a day or two after each rejection and I pray God would reveal what he has for me in his will. I cannot seem to move forward and find joy in some work in this world. I would rather go home, because I do not “fit “ into this world, and I know God has a better plan for me elsewhere. Thank you for this message and sharing that you also have a degree and a big heart to so big things even in a fallen world. Yes, I’ve definitely felt people have been trying to bring me down, I’ve been bullied, abused and stalked but for some reason this year I feel much more powerful and I feel things are finally looking up and they can’t stand it. Ever since I’ve been low key, things started looking up for me.

Well said. Keeping your dreams to yourself and away from naysayers is best. They don’t support and when they do it’s to downplay your dreams. I used to verbally attack these people back, even recently. The Holy Spirit showed me their hurt and pain and I learned that it has absolutely nothing to do with me. ITS HARD to develop that mentality, but it makes our lives easier when people project onto us. God Bless you. Love your content.

It's like people having big egos for a talent they lack. Think of singing auditions, when some of the contestants strut with an attitude and can't sing a lick! At least, HAVE A TALENT and be very good at it (only then would an ego be justified), but these people can't even blink right but are telling you to humble yourself!!!!

You're right it is often jealousy. It can also be an unwillingness of heart on the other person's part in trying to "humble" another they have an unwillingness to learn. I heard something pretty sharp from a smart person as observing there are some people who only know how to deal with superiors and Interiors as categories of people in their lives. If you don't fall into these categories or you fall into a superior category they don't deal with too well they can want to put you in an inferior category so they know how to interact with you since they are used to that comfort zone. On the other side of the coin those of us who are feelers need to strengthen and work on communicating logically to thinkers to speak speak language.
I have these people in town and want to relocate somewhere positive.
My whole life, everywhere, over and over, they just keeping devaluating me, putting me down, or act like I don't exist.

It's true, I'm 39 and I have been having this happen to me all my life. I have been around a lot of very smart people, they always make me feel as if I don't belong even in my own career. It's not my chosen path in life yet but sometimes to care for those you love you have to let go of a dream career/job. At least long enough to make things right in your personal life. I didn't always realize what people were trying to do to me. It effected me greatly and made me depressed and I started to think they were right. Then I realized it's just their opinion and usually I had skill sets that were unique and something that they could not do and they tried to make it out as it was beneath them. I eventually caught on later in life and started to shrug off all their attacks and kept my mind healthy. As long as I believed in myself they could do nothing to me.

The other thing I have observed is what I call "dry-welling." This is a technique that haters use when deliberately withholding any encouragement or interest in you and your aspirations. If "loved ones" or "friends" NEVER ask about your goals or encourage you in any way, they know you are thirsty for help...and they are dry-welling you because they are envious. In the past, they have heard you say what you are hoping for...and that you could use some encouragement...but they withhold...dry-welling you is covert opposition. It's a form of abandonment.

I really needed to hear this message today, after another job rejection because my assessment score was not high enough in analysis skills for a paperwork position. I felt so down about myself and felt like I did not “fit into” the box I was out into. I really did not want the position because I have other heart desires to accomplish. I thought I would “settle” for a position to get work. I recently earned a bachelors degree, and I literally cannot get hired for some reason or another. I have all but given up!! I do stay down for a day or two after each rejection and I pray God would reveal what he has for me in his will. I cannot seem to move forward and find joy in some work in this world. I would rather go home, because I do not “fit “ into this world, and I know God has a better plan for me elsewhere.
