Wow I’m a 7th grader but I’m obsessed with these! But I always plan ahead and think about my future and stuff similar to that! Congrats on all those colleges you got into!
Awesome- my 8th grader is already watching your videos. He is extremely motivated and is already studying for AP Bio that he will be taking in 9th grade and his 8/9 PSAT.
wow! that's amazing. i'll have an sat prep advice video coming out tomorrow so stay tuned for that! also, be sure that he's enjoying himself as well :)
Here I am stressing over a virtual fly-in UPENN application. The most difficult part for me is writing a flowing transition sentence, and relating everything back to the question.
i'm not sure about the mit essays because one of them was very personal and I want to protect the privacy of the person I wrote about... i might read the other mit essays though, i'm just not sure yet :)
i'm a native English speaker so this is DEFINITELY not my area of expertise but I'd recommend having people look over/edit your writing whenever possible (especially people who you don't know very well) and to practice writing in different styles (narrative, argumentative, informational, etc)
English is my third language but i'd like to believe that i'm pretty fluent. I just finished writing my main common app essay and was super happy with it. Then i was like why not just give it to my english teacher to review and there were actually so many syntaxe mistakes i didn't know of. So i do believe you should do the same.
not me reading that you were admitted to multiple ivies and being intimidated by the genuinely-low chance of getting in. applying to be a questbridge national college match finalist in a few days so we'll see what happens. penn's the goal though, and my brother goes there too.
you're in like every U penn ad lol

I'm so glad you have this mentality so early. This is literally the key to not burn out in this application process, well at least it worked for me.
