I mean, take Long Story for example, or Change, even more recent ones like the 60th Anniversary Tribute and Gallifrey Stands.

It has a lot more than 13 seasons. Currently standing it has a total 40 Seasons over more than 60 years. Then there's like 10 seasons worth of spin off material. So it originally ran from 1963-1989 with 26 seasons. Then it was revived in 2005 with the same continuity, running till 2022 with 13 seasons. At that point it didn't actually stop, it just started the season numbering again at 1 because internally it was getting a new network and they wanted new viewers to feel comfortable jumping on begging the 2023 onwards version of the show with what's the total 40th season, many fans of the revival era just call it 14 because it clean pics up where the previous iteration left off. Season 2 or 15 or 41 is already shot and coming out next year.
