Can you ESCAPE using the SQUID SCOOTER in ISLE?

- Does the monster attack at a certain distance as an event, or is the monster coded as an entity that tracks and follows? If the latter, can you outrun it with the squid scooter?

@@sushitrash-dj9vq Yeah probably. The plane dialogue starts after 30 sec of cut scene and the boat dialogue starts after 45 sec of cut scene. I was on the squid scooter for 2 min (no cut scene). I wondered if the dialogue started after the cut scene was a certain distance from the island or if it was after a certain amount of time.
One of my friends were using the squid scooter and did the same thing as this, they ended up going so far they fell off the map

@@DadCanInJapan They simply fell off the map and died, they got sent back to the lobby without any dialogue i believe.
It’s not coded as an entity, I think there’s a 14 second timer as you can see the monster render in all at once
I remember I went far enough and reached the edge of the map that was completely from hanger but I found a wierd building underwater before I got killed, the building was under the edge so I couldnt get there

You can go faster with the squid by maintaining the jump button and jumping in and out.
you need to find the right camera angle tho but it's worth it

I tried it it does work I got the same text as being trapped in the givers relm.
I know I'm extremely late, but I had an idea. What if the escape zone is actually at the docks. What if you used the squid scooter to travel into the zone the boat would enter during the escape?
One time I was able to swim to where the land stops because the sea monster wasnt even killing me

@@DadCanInJapan We were doing orbit which I already have, and I already had it, it either was just very lagged behind, had something to do with the items i was holding, or just broken completely!
my theory is that it is actually coded to follow you, and gets faster every second

what if you do it after the sea monster destroys the boat? (when you do the boat escape without the decoy module)
You would have to be pretty quck deploying the squid scooter. Worth a try.
You wont escape and the sea monster is coded to if your in the water after the distance you go if your in the water for 14 seconds it gets you and the reason you were not dying is you kept jumping out of the water with the squid scooter.
Not true just keep jumping on the squid scooter and you will reach a void similar to the givers relm
