Based on my experience with manual, electric, and pneumatic staplers, these M12s are actually a net savings after going through $350+ worth of the other options. I've had two of the M12s for many years and they've both seen 10-20k+ staples. Mostly installing batt insulation into pine/fir studs and house wrap into plywood. Another thing I like to use them for is the back of floating cabinet crown molding miters, which is usually maple. I can't speak highly enough about these things. If you keep an eye on Home Depot apps daily deals, every now and then you'll see them for $99 with a 2.0 or $129 with a 4.0. I think the best part of this review is I've never touched the depth adjustment and didn't even know it had a color indicator lol
I think I remember Project Farm reviewing staplers and it turned out that the Ryobi was one of the best there is, especially for the price. I feel that transitioning to Milwaukee for this tool was unfortunate timing. That said, I own a lot of Ryobi and Milwaukee tools and think both brands are great. This is just one of those tools where Ryobi seem to come out swinging.
@@FlynndoggWoodwork Having said what I said, even I have considered the Milwaukee stapler, mainly due to it's compact size. I own the same Ryobi brad nailer as you and agree that it's amazing value. That said, Milwaukee's M12 brad nailer sure looks nice and compact.
@@ImLeeBee someone else metioned they have hte milwaukee brad nailer and they love it. I might have to check that one out as well! Thanks so much again for watching!
I used my gun for installing insulation. It was great and allowed you to reach out further because the trigger is so easy to use verses the old spring loaded guns. Plus Milwaukee has a twin pack of the 12 volt batteries on sale for $80
Thanks for the tip! I'm always looking for great deals on tools! That’s a great price for two of those batteries! Thanks so much for watching Gary! Really appreciate it!
Great video as always Bryan. I’ve been thinking about picking up one of these Milwaukee stapler I love their impact guns and nail guns the staple guns but one of the only things I don’t have. Definitely going to have to get one. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family Bryan 🎊🎄🎉🎁
Well done my friend! Milwaukee's M12 lineup has some nice products. I have a couple. I'll add the stapler to my wish list. Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!
Haha! I saw that when I was editing! :). Those are my nemesis! Me vs. the Squirrel. I catch about 15 a year in my barn. I have two in there now that I'm currently battling with! Thanks so much for watching LiveTravelandLove!
I bought my stapler over 4 years ago and it has worked flawlessly ever since. My first plunge was the drill & driver set M12 mine was their fuel (brushless set). They best power tools I've ever purchased ever. I did buy a M18 set that has a drill & driver set in it. But I don't use them as often. I find that building furniture you don't need the M18 power. The M12 is powerful enough. I also have the M12 brad 23 gauge nailer best nailer ever. I'm a Milwaukee whore and I'm proud of it.
Haha! There could be worse things to be a whore of! :). I started out with Ryobi because of the price, but I am just realizing how nice many of these higher end tools are. I will never knock ryobi as it got me into woodworking but man there are some really nice other brands out there. I'd like to check out makita hear in the near future as well! THanks so much for watching Shane!
Dogg man, as I am the only geezer in the shop, I went to 12 volt drill and driver a while ago (though I went the other way as Milwaukee is usually too expensive for me). I like them because I don't do much rough framing or carpentry anymore and am really more of a shop dog, now. The 12v platform is plenty powerful and a whole lot lighter. Dogg, man, ever since you dropped the weight you are bouncing all over the screen (or is that the effect of the amphetamines?). And, then there's Burt.
Haha! probably a combination of both! :). I'm with you. I'm just now realizing I don't really need the power of 18, and the 12v platforms are some nice tools with a smaller package. I'm going to be continuing to explore some of these smaller types of tools. Hope you have a good christmas!
I love the M12 platform everytool i have gotten isvery nice the older brushed tools are a little lacking in power but they will get the job done the improved jigsaw is the kittys ass well worth the money have a Merry Christmas
1st time viewer here. "A cut in film is a transition between shots or scenes in a film"...🧐 You had 20 cuts within the 1st minute. That's more cuts than a Michael Bay movie 😅. All jokes aside. I do like your "Style" of review 👍. It's more information about the tool and less 🤔...You need to buy this tool and here is the link below so I can get a cut 😅... review.
Oh no, never buy batteries full price! You can get them free all the time. Or free tool with a battery. For Milwaukee, always buy the fuel ones if it’s an option. It’s not for the stapler, but it is with the drills and the fuel ones are much nicer. They’re more powerful and last longer but they just feel nicer to use and work better.

I want to see you put a screw in the ryobi 4 n 1! About 1:44 seconds in. I think you meant mail not screw. Another awesome video!

Bryan, when you run out of room for more tools, you know that I am willing to take them off your hands.
I’ll definitely keep you in mind Ken! With all the work you’re doing, you sure deserve a few!
