Same Marie - I only get gel polish on my real/natural nails, no dip, no acrylic, no nothing. And I'm a grown woman as well. I think for those who have strong and healthy nails, it's not needed. Additionally, once you go down that rabbit hole, you pretty much need to continue frequent visits to maintain all of that. With natural nails, you can still remove the polish and do whatever you want with your nails, and they still look and feel good! ;)
Ok. Do not feel bad. My son and daughter in law had my nails done for 70th birthday. First time ever. I was so excited. Picked same color you did and all my senior friends and granddaughters teased me about my little girl pink.💗 I ate up every moment cuz it was me being a little girl again. No one cld believe it was first ever manicure but I still loved looking at my pretty pink nails. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. It's a memory that makes me smile. 😄

When I moved to Florida and bought my house I got a lawn mower. After the heat of the summer I was like no way and hired lawn service. Still do my own bush trimming and gardening but glad I don't have to mower anymore! Just an FYI
