I would like to say I just shipped my pistol in. And got it back quick . You guys did a awesome job . IT’s everything I wanted in a trigger ! And your customer service and work was just absolutely fantastic. I would trust you guys to do all my triggers! Verry happy customer.
As clear as the written instructions were this accompanied video is the reason I went with Timney instead of Apex. Thanks for the efforts behind the install. It worked fantastic for my two m&p 2.0 pistols. Ended up doing a safety delete on one and red dot install at the same time for both. Great guidance!
I just did the installation myself on my M&P 2.0 PC CORE 5" following this instruction video. Cause I have the CORE model, the installation got so easy for the fire pin safety! The whole thing took me about 40 min. but hey! this is my FIRST trigger job. I got to leave comment here because this trigger is fantastic!! Shorter over travel, super crisp break (hit the wall, bang!), lighter pull, and much better reset!! Can't comment about Apex trigger but I will be VERY shock if Apex better than this one!
You guys gotta make a trigger for the mossberg patriot. It's mossbergs most popular rifle and the only trigger out there for it is from jard. Myself, and many others would love a timney drop in for it. We need a trigger we can trust and rely on from you guys.
@@whatsup24_7 took a gamble and actually their mossberg lba short action trigger fits in my long action mossberg patriot 300wm. The patriot just isn't listed as one of the compatible rifles for that trigger.
@@whatsup24_7 wouldn't say it's terrible, just not as smooth as I'd want it. If you are just using it for hunting a few times a year then I wouldn't even worry about it
Wonder why S&W cant just put a good trigger in the 10m and a recoil spring that can shoot hot loads. They have made some of the finest guns in the world, why put their name on this and half ass stuff that affects reliability.
@@SaltyPirate71 The trigger is not really the issue reliability is #1 it wont feed full power 10mm loads. I have heard some say theirs does but mostly that it wont. I have sent it to them and they said their is nothing wrong with it. But it wont reliably feed full power 10mm ammo. That is an issue. I just had a feeding issue with Magtech 10mm ammo yesterday
My new Timney Alpha trigger kit for the S&W M&P came with a small metal open ring around the central shaft of the striker safety plunger. It's pictured on the seller's website. However, I didn't see that metal ring on this video. Any idea what this metal ring is for? Should it be removed prior to installation? Thank you.
I have the same ring and the same question... I also have light primer strikes as striker released before safety plunger clears the way. But I like the trigger :)
@Delfinchik Per the manufacturer's email exchange with me, that ring should be removed prior to installation of the trigger components. It would've been nice to know that before I installed it. That ring broke up inside my slide and wasn't simple to remove as a result... that could possibly be the reason for your light primer strikes. I love my Timney Alpha trigger. I've got 1,887 rounds through it since mid-2022 with flawless functionality. I used a little Loctite Blue on the mounting skrew where the trigger connects to the trigger bar to prevent that skrew from vibrating loose under high round-count firing. Good things! 👍

Excellent content, I really appreciate the close up view..

Best video on the topic.
Nice video. Clear & concise.
I ordered one of these today for a new M&P 2.0 10mm. I'm sure I'll be referring back for guidance when I receive it.
What a great job doing this video thanks
I like the threaded trigger pin versus apex trigger that has to be pressed in on a vice! Good idea!
Excellent video !
Great video !! I’m buying myself one for Christmas
gen 1 must not have that second piece shown at the sear install, otherwise exact info for a gen 1 compact. thanks, great trigger

They obviously don't sell enough of them to make it worth while. If they did then many trigger manufacturers would be making a trigger for it.

@@USMC5858 That's cool then. Is the original trigger that bad?

This may seem strange I understand this is a Competition Series Trigger. Is it possible to keep the pull weight around 3-4 lbs ?

Removed rear sight....no FP Safety. It's under the optic plate. Need to add that to video for others.

@@jpg_sig10 thanks a lot. Will remove that ring first.
Will this fit a m&p shield 🛡️?
Nope. Not for the shield
