- A quick video that shows you how I added an outdoor water faucet to the front of my home. My house was built with only one water faucet at the back of the house. As my garden has expanded, I needed the option to connect my garden hose to a front water faucet. Fortunately, one of my bathrooms happens to share an exterior wall with the front. I hope this project gives others the confidence to install their own. I used a frost proof wall hydrant made by SharkBite. I purchased all my materials from Home Depot.

Hi. Such a great video. Thank you. Im about to attempt the exact thing, for exactly the same reason. Question though. Might be a silly one. When you put the T on the copper water line, couldn’t you have used only pex?Why did you supply the sink line with copper and the spigot line on pex. I’m a copper clueless. Can I use pex for the entire project? After my copper to pex transition elbow, that is.
