I kinda like these pullbacks tbh. Helps put in perspective that tech in particular isn’t invincible lol. Been feeling like it’s in a bubble for a little while now, and it seems that was true
@@saadnaser4172 I believe that "closed to new investors" means that if someone does not currently hold any shares of FDGRX, they cannot buy any as long as the fund is in this status. When I made some changes in my portfolio last year, I sold some shares of FDGRX (high expense ratio) but maintained some shares to allow the option of buying more in the future. I replaced the shares I sold with VGT, which had good (but not as good as FDGRX) performance and much lower expenses.
Thanks for your reply Julie. My question for you , why you are concern about the expense ratio while the fund has a high return percentage? I have another question. When and how is the expense ratio deducted, is it yearly or daily deduction?
T.Row the managers did massive rebalancing last year of holdings and some manager changes so the turnaround has thrown their one and two year returns out of whack. It was needed since they were holding some dead cash and some out of fundamental companies 'ie. tesla'
Closing bell should be interesting after the way this day is looking!!
Yep!

@@DrJack144 pullback does equate to buying opportunities, just not sure when to pull the trigger.

.
Returns is reported net of expenses, so expense ratio doesn’t matter.
I own FDGRX, but it is closed to new investors.
When and how I can buy this fund ? Do I have to call fidelity?
