6:44 I had the same Spanish red wine on QR F in March 2024 (SYD-DOH) - and it was sensational. Oh, and the 40yo Port with dessert too!
QR F is "underrated" in my opinion - way less bling than EK but, as you pointed out, the sleep quality is great. Great review!

Hi Adam, Thanks for your video. My wife and her +85 mum are on the Perth-Doha flight. Is there really no assisted check in in Perth for first? Seems strange for F/J classes. The reason for asking is my in-law will have to check in herself as we are in Syd. Wondering about the transit/transfer between QF domestic - international too. Cheers
I'm glad you reached out... I was at the Perth international airport just last week and noticed Qatar do have dedicated check-in counters for first and business (with personnel); this is on the other side of the stairs (right side as you walk into the terminal) which lead up to the departure area. I'm not sure if this is new since my video... Regarding your question about transferring between international terminal (T1) and Qantas (T3/T4) there is a shuttle bus (I believe this is free of charge); or if time is tight, I'd get an uber - it would be an 8minute journey... Enjoy your trip!

Nice video Adam, I've enjoyed a few from your channel now. I had the pleasure of trying Qatar airways first class myself from Doha to Bangkok last year, unfortunately didn't have the option of doing double caviar, totally missed out on that! Should the title of this be Perth to Doha instead of Doha to Perth?

We’re flying Qatar out to Europe from Melbourne later this year and can only go 777 whereas our family are joining us in London flying out of Perth on A380. Seems that A380 used on Perth-Doha-Perth but 777-300 Melbourne-Doha-Melbourne. We find this fact rather interesting. As a family group we’re all flying out of New York to Doha on 777 but they head back to Perth A380 and us to Melbourne 777 again. No First Class on 777…only Q-Suite….

Doing the same flight in March 2025. Did you access the lounge before the flight? No Krug available on the plane?
Leaving from Perth, the Air NZ lounge was used.. It was crowded and not very impressive - so I omitted this from the UA-cam… The lounge in Doha was much better! Unfortunately no Krug was available on this flight 🥲
