I forget the technical term however I have heard of guys running a corvette or aftermarket….guessing name….acumulater or servo pump thing that screws into the outside of your 60e case to help them live a little longer.
Yeah, there are a few affordable tricks to try to keep it together. We will be putting in a 4L80 though, it's a lot sturdier and will be better suited to the abuse.
I’d love to figure out how to tune enough to get mine running once I get it done. I think with the decapped injectors it will not run on the base tune.
They definitely will not, they flow a significant amount more than they used to. Definitely need hptuners to get it going once you swap major components like this.
@@wy-fab The open .96 AR T4 Turbine housing that they are using in this video comes with that feature on the housing, that is a new product that isnt released yet but will be launching soon.
@@wy-fab Joe is right! This turbine housing has a TiAL f38 flange on it, it will be an option soon, it has performed awesome in our testing so far. We've done 6-16 psi without any control issues
We are using factory delco wires. It helps if you notch the manifold for some extra clearance around the plugs in general but we haven't had any issues on the oem plug wires so far.
@@bradenlewis5414 if your worried. You can put some heat wrap around your header or the plug. My plugs sit directly on top of my headers, og ac Delco. Haven't melted one yet.
The best turbo team ever!

@@forcedperformance768 oh yes for sure the way to go…be interesting to see how long you..or how much the 60 will take before roasting itself.
@@clint.garage.6092 As long as you don't have a sticky set of tires it's ok. Let that thing hook tho and the 60 will hate life.
I've been dying to know the rear wheel and tire specs on that Tahoe.

What exhaust housing is on that turbo? Got a part # or link?
Id assume its the 7875 with the .96 AR exhaust housing, the same one that is in the description.
@@joeyoung4309 the one in the description doesn't have the integrated wastegate on the housing like the one in the video.

@@wizzurp Thanks for the info.
When is part 3 coming?
The real question is when is part 5 coming!

Found part 3 lol
What plug wires did you get to work with that log manifold?

Awesome! Thanks for your reply. Was just worried about the wires getting burnt.
