Growing up in Old Saybrook I love flying in this neck of the woods... That last landing made me so uncomfortable with what looks to be no Yaw control. Thanks!
Great topic! I like all yours how-to and what-not-to-do videos. But it would be great and very helpful to have some external replay views for demonstration purpose.
1:28 "for the sake of science", sure, coincidentally that is why I watch the videos as well. I don't think the flare-less landing is completely myth, a glassy water landing comes to mind, and as you already mentioned carrier landings. Don't you think they probably just meant to land at a shallow angle, which you kind of did in the demonstration. Given you probably haven't massively practiced that particular technique I will put the technique in the usable category, it went fairly well, and could be useful in various scenarios (but probably not suitable for you everyday standard operations though). Very enjoyable topic.
Hey I'm signed up for my PPL in a waiting list and have been into MSFS for years now. Your videos are always teaching me something new! I was wondering, would you be interested in doing an online fly together during your livestream with me sometime? You can be my virtual CFI! Let me know if interested, I'd love to be your copilot!
I can hear my former instructor now, "I HAVE THE AIRCRAFT!" 😄

the first two have increased risk of prop strike, the last has a big risk of stalling before or above the runway.
I great video. I have heard a lot of nonsense from people that are not pilots. Thank you for this
*No flare landing*
US NAVY: Ha, we are doing it every time
Ryanair: Hold my bear, bro.

Super cool topic 🎉
The only aircraft in MSFS that has throttle for rate of descent ant pitch for speed is the A2A Comanche. It's got a separate flight model!
As someone who flies a taildragger with no flaps... What is this flare you speak of? 😂
hahaha no flare landing…. leave your teeth at the door 😮
