I cannot thank you enough for the amazing music you have produced; it's the best I've ever listened to. With all that in mind, I know every group grows/progresses/evolves. The feeling of Formshifter was nothing short of amazing, and I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I was hoping you would stay true to that same vein. The melodies and composition were impeccable, fucking brilliant. I totally understand the need to grow and change, but damn man, I cannot find the melody in this song that I love about Allegaeon's many others. I've literally been growing up with you as I have your songs playing while I'm on a run through the woods or driving into work, and with this song, I just don't recognize what I've come to love so much. I completely and fully respect and admire your artistic talent, but I do have to say, I miss your amazing sense of melody that no other band has achieved.

What helps me is stepping back and listening to the song as if it was a band I have never heard before. It helps me be more objective when critiquing a song or album. I sense your passion, and I feel your pain, man. But this music is truly outstanding in my opinion.
