      Bing Xuan Low Recycled material is more expensive. The recycling process is incredibly complex and requires more skilled labors whereas mining labors are virtually free in some third world countries.

      Bing Xuan Low Recycling things is ANOTHER process that requires engineering. Its not a cheap thing to do.
      Same thing with Healthy food thats also more expensive than crap food.

      Well, every single year apple announces new strategy to reduce their impact on the environment.. other manufacturers mention nothing about the environment
      This year’s MacBook Air is made of 100% aluminum
      And I think that maybe last year or the year before it that apple announced their second generation robot for recycling apple products

    Instead of throwing rocks at Apple, we should have enough self esteem so that we don’t feel the need to buy new phones every year or even every six months. If people stick with their devices for some years, companies like Apple will have to support them for longer periods of times. In that way we all win!!!

    I don't know why we're focusing on phones when other products we use daily use A LOT more of these materials (laptops, TVs, cars, etc.)

      Perhaps phones are the most disposable ones. Apple practically forces users to buy a new phone every 2 years (as the old phone slows down).

      Mikolaj F. As a Samsung user, I believe it's the other way around. My old work iPhone 6 still gets regular OS updates.My Note 4 released in the same year as the iPhone 6 hasn't had a updated in 2+ years. So all the bugs I have, hasn't had any support. I am stuck with bugs or go buy a new phone.

      I've used my old crappy Dell Inspiron with a hard drive for over 4 years and it was still going strong. The only reason I switched was because the plastic chassis ripped apart from the base and destroyed along with it the WiFi card.
      In short, if you get something that's quality, it'll last a long time. This isn't exclusive to Apple.

    If that's how they produce phone, they should make customers giving away or charity the phone back to producers to be recycle and reproduce into the advanced one, so the resources will not exploited dry and they can save money from mining costs. It's not about money they can survive, it's the natural resources they can live.

    You can tell they were struggling to remove the the battery (you can tell by looking at the ripped peaces on the housing)that white adhesive can easily be pulled off with little force leaving the battery intact

    A12 Bionic Chip was in the previous iPhone X and 8 models from last year. Still quite powerful nonetheless.

      No it wasn’t. That was A11 which is yes still faster then Snap 845 and other similar android flagship chips. But those are nothing compared to A12 which is still faster then the new Snap 855
      And lets not forget A12X, that wipes everything out of the market!
