2:24 Romana: Where are we going? Doctor: Are you talking philosophically or geographically? Romana: Philosophically. Doctor: Then we're going to lunch. I know a little place that does a fantastic bouillabaisse. Do you like bouillabaisse? Romana: Mmm, bouillabaisse, yum yum.
Was really hoping for slightly more classic series rep than we got ten years ago. I have to admit my heart sank a little when I realized it was the exact same setlist as last time. I suppose that the larger number of classic-era composers makes rights negotiations a bit more difficult than with the two revival-era ones thus far, compounded with how few score sheets survive. And of course, in the last ten years, the amount of revival-era music to pull from has just about doubled! And the concert should absolutely reflect that. Still would've been nice to get at least one snippet from Colin Baker's era, though…
This was the only big disappointment, the fact that it's the exact same as the first time, even down to the dalek voicelines. Would it have hurt them to do something different? Genesis of the Daleks? Hell, anything from the mid 70s? Or Colin's era? Maybe even throw in a bit of Paul if they could for legal reasons. Big Finish themes too, if that wasn't an option. Plus, Tomb still sounds wank, even after 10 years, and I can't help but be annoyed that of all the many great 80's scores, they only used Peter Howell's and Mark Ayers's, and a splash of Kingsland. I know they're present at the event, but come on, those other themes deserve their moment in the sun
I am a bit disappointed that this is the same set as the previous medley from 2013. While it pretty great to hear this again, but i was hoping they make it different. Like more music from the late Dudley Simpson in the 70s era or 60s era. Nope. I was hoping for some music from the Collin Baker era or even a small snippet would be brilliant. Sadly it's not the case in here. While this is not a bad medley, but i was rather underwhelmed that it's the same version from 2013.
The Tomb of the Cybermen music is unbelievably good and still as spine tingling to this day. A genuine masterpiece of 60s DW
The exact same melody they did for the 50th Anniversary Proms at the Albert Hall.
Indeed it is, I was there at the Proms in 2013, I remember it like it was yesterday. Hard to believe its over a Decade ago now.....
City of Death always makes me smile, “It’s the end…” always gives my goosebumps. In the orchestral version both feelings are magnified.

Lol I've watched it so many times, that I know it by heart!

It's such a shame that barely any of Dudley Simpson's work is intact, yet bloody Carey Blyton's all survived...
@@brigadier-tc8565Agreed on Simpson, disagreed on Blyton. I have a soft spot for his approach to instrumentation.
Bundles of epicness ❤❤
And this concert list shows that Murray will always be the G.O.A.T of Doctor Who Music.
This was by Mark Ayres and Peter Howell not Murray Gold
Does anyone knows all the tracks and where there from?
