Super useful information. I appreciate the practical advice and experience. A friend has a handle that is pulling straight out. Sounds like need to go in with the hacks and retighten it. However, if when I get there the handle is sagging, I.e on level, the springs broken and we just need to go pick up a new handle. Is that about right? Right? If you have any more details on this particular section let me know. I'm guessing that the lock wasn't working correctly, as they stated, and they kept torquing on it. Trying to get it to lock and loosened the hacks. Hacks. I'm hoping it's not done more damage than the hex just needing to be retined.

Can the spring on the handle be replaced if it’s sagging slightly?
What’s the point of having a multi latch mechanism on a glass door? Burglars are just gonna smash the glass
In any hurricane prone state, the glass is impact rated. Good luck getting through it. Baseball bat wont even do the job.
